My recent stay at the Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre near Calgary Airport was disappointing due to numerous service failures. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was indifferent and unhelpful, insisting on a $25 early check-in fee despite our room being ready. We were also given only one key card for two guests, complicating our stay. Breakfast was another letdown; the restaurant opened at 8 AM, which is unaccommodating for travelers. The conference food was equally subpar, with stale croissants, limited coffee options, and unappetizing lunch choices. After the conference, I encountered further issues when my key card was deactivated, and a housekeeping staff member ignored my request for help. The lack of basic amenities like extra toilet paper and tissues in the room was unacceptable. Overall, the hotel failed to meet basic standards for customer service and amenities, making it hard to recommend for business travelers. Significant improvements are needed for a better guest experience.

Rooms were serviceable and somewhat clean. The beds were comfy, and clean. The washrooms are slightly outdated--and had some blood stains on the curtains. The rooms' walls were slightly thin, I could hear next door's washroom and curtains closing. The front desk is helpful and nice. Breakfast needed to be bought. Overall, good for the price and decent accommodations.
