Nice hotel in a good location for transport (and walking). Rooms are large (especially if you're more used to European hotels), and the breakfast options at the onsite restaurant are tasty. The area around the hotel seemed fine to me, though the proximity to the light rail station does mean that there is some street noise, and ear plugs might be needed for lighter sleepers. All in all, a decent hotel for the price.

I was expecting a certain standard from this chain, knowing their reputation. The staff were excellent and could not have been nicer or more efficient, however, a few key services were unavailable - hot tub and ice machine - two of the expectations one has of a quality hotel. Furthermore, my biggest concern, is hygiene. The room has a damp smell and, presumably, unrelated to the smell I am now experiencing symptoms of bed bugs - per a local pharmacists review. I have not slept elsewhere since leaving my own home so put it down to my stay here which is incredibly disappointing.
