Very friendly staff. One of the most friendliest front end staff I've ever met. Recieved free upgrade to premium room.
Was informed that reviews were based on previous management and hotel has undergone changes.
Very cheap for a one night stay.
Checked room for cleanliness based on reviews but did not find anything dirty/gross. No bugs or roaches like some other reviews mentioned. Bed sheets and pillows were clean.
Lighting in bathroom was not optimal but was suitable for our stay.
Was a very quiet stay. Did not see anyone around our rooms or outside of the hotel.
4.5/5. Would stay again based on price & front end staff.
$100 deposit was refunded.
It was terrible stay. Our first had clogged pipes in the washroom and was super dirty in the washroom.. they attended came and replaced the unit to a different floor on 3rd and told us that he checked the room and is good room 306. Upond moving to it we quickly discovered that the TV n telephone wasn't working forcing me to come town stairs and request for another room. We finally ended up getting 308 as our room. It was super annoying and couldn't sleep until 3am almost because of booking in issues. This is by far the worst experience I've had to deal with in a hotel. I think its best to switch to Airbnb
To be honest price could be lowered a bit
But for being last minute on a weekend I’m ok with that
Last time I stayed we must have got a free upgrade or something.
Again not complaining
Will be coming back for sure
Was was recently renovated, so it was in decent condition. Its on an airplane landing path so you will hear planes coming in overhead, but I didnt notice that till into the morning so doesn't seem to be an issue overnight. My only real complaint is that despite being a non smoking room, it still smelled of cigarette smoke.
There was no place to hang the towels in the bathroom, and there was limited space around the sink to put our toiletries stuff.
Also, there was only one dust bin in the room but no waste bin in the washroom. I had to move the bin around to use it.
Other than that, it was ok.
the room we were given had no heating and we basically froze all night until we were moved to another room with a smaller bed than our original. The halls smelled like smoke and the bed springs in our new room were shot. Our toilet was not flushing properly so we called up room service to assist us but they never showed. it took me physically going down to the front desk to get any sort of assistance. Though it is on the cheaper spectrum of hotels, we expected at least the bare minimum.
I wouldn’t stay here again . The area isn’t great and the hotel itself has guests who I definitely wouldn’t want around my home or anywhere I sleep . I was worried my car would be broken into in the parking lot . One elevator was broken down and when I got up in the morning the other one was too so I had to carry my bag down 5 floors. I didn’t realize when I booked it but the hotel is shady something you’d expect a drug addict or prostitute to stay in and judging by the looks of the folks hanging around they could have been either.
