Considering the high star hotels seems to be very expensive I opted for this hotel due to its reviews. It's basic, area isn't all that clean but I felt safe. As people have mentioned before , do not stay here if you are wishing for peace and quiet or are a light sleeper. At least not if you are the type that goes to bed early and I would avoid This place on the weekends. We were there during the week and I could sleep through a tornado so it wasn't a big deal. We were also on the first floor, tucked in the back and I think that maybe the most quiet place to be. It was sufficient for what we needed it to be. However, I would pay more $ next time and stay at the Marriot which is up the street or the hotel/casino that's in the big mall in Cali. The staff does their job well at cali Plaza. They deserve to be paid more.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Pleasant place to stay, friendly staff. Very close to a hopping night area, so just ask for "quisiera la habitacion tranquilo" and they will hopefully put you in a quieter inside room.

The hotel is average for the price you pay. The check in is very late with did cause some issue. Also it says it's an apartment with a kitchen...it has the kitchen but not a single piece of kitchen utensils not even glasses so you can't cook at all which is badly advertised!!

Great Apartahotel Zona Rosa / Avenida Sexta CALI
I have stayed at this hotel many times. I like it because it is an apartasuite hotel. This overcomes the problems if you have to stay in an hotel for a sustained period. Instead of buying all your meals from restaurants you have a small breakfast included in the hotel price and then buy food and prepare your other meals in the small kitchen in your apartasuite. The staff in this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful and can be protective of guests (for example photocopying identity of guests that visit you). There was a problem with mosquitos breeding in black water at the rear of the hotel just outside the windows to my room. This was a special concern as Zika virus is present in Colombia.The hotel staff moved me to a new room immediately I expressed concern and I believe they had the area cleaned and fumigated.

Cali Plaza never recieved our reservation from hotels.com therefore our apt was rented. Got split in 2 rooms. Next day manager put us in an apartment with no hot water but didn't tell us that there was no hot water. Found out when showering. Also no glasses plates, pots pans, forks, spoons, knives in apt yet this had a kitchen. Had to move out 2 days early to a different hotel. No apology from the management at all for inconveniences.

Cali Plaza - Quite nice
I had a nice stay there, the staff are really nice and the rooms are quite comfortable. Its loud at night due to the Viejo Barril located across the street, but its not bad. Its Cali, afterall. I'd stay here again. Make sure to use Calle 15N when asking for a taxi, otherwise you may wait a long long time.

Good apartahotel in the Zona Rosa
Very good apartahotel in the Zona Rosa of Cali. Everything that you need food, entertainment, shopping, pharmacies are close to the hotel and it is in a reasonably safe area. The hotel is slightly dated. It is very acceptable for the price (I paid). It does state that there is a restaurant in the hotel and breakfast is included in the price. The restaurant is actually a very small local type of restaurant. Breakfast is a small amount of fruit, eggs as you like with bread or arepas. The hotel is secure. Rooms are well equipped and include plasma TVs and air.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I stayed for 6 weeks. The room was similar to a one bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen which included a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, & microwave. It was a perfect room for my husband and I as we wanted to prepare most of our meals. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect--close to shopping, dining, gym & nightlife. I will definitely be back again!

Not a bad stay at all. Hotel is in a good location for walking. A few restaurants are located near by. Only downside for English speaking guests is the lack of English spoken by the staff,but this is a problem thru out Cali. The price was good,and I would stay here on future trips.

Great Value for the Price
This is the best value I've encountered on this two month trip.when I first entered the room I was shocked.It wasn't a room it was an apartment with separate living room,bedroom and kitchen it even had a seperate wash basin and close line.There were no cooking utensils but the fridge and microwave were a real plus. The location can be a bit loud on weekends as there are many bars nearby.There are many restaurants close by which was a plus.There is also an on site restaurant open for breakfast and lunch which I did not try. If you dread taxis as I do the bus terminal is an easy 20 minute walk via Carrera 3. I look forward to staying there again on my next Cali visit.I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, close to restaurants, bars and clubs. Depending on where your room is, it will be noisy on Fridays and Saturdays until 3am.

This is an Apart-Hotel rather than an hotel. Good service. Quite clean. The refrigerator was not found in the kitchen, as shown in the details. It is located in "barrio rumbero", which means noise is heard til late at night.

I had booked 14 nights & checked out after the 2nd night. Hotel too noisy located next to clubs, restaurant & noise came thru. Also when they said AC they didn't specify that the AC is only in the bedroom. The other rooms (living, kitchen, bathroom) don't have AC. I couldn't take the hear & noise. If you don't mind this then the hotel will be fine for you. Hotel is clean but sadly I couldn't take the heat or noise.

Excellent 4 star hotel close to Chipichape.
I stayed at MS Chipichape for two nights. The place is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood walking distance from the Mall Chipichape. Staff is cordial and helpful in every way possible. Hotel is new and rooms are clean. Air conditioning is quiet and hot shower works well. Breakfast is delicious and abundant. Fruit salad, eggs, ham and cheese, bread, yogurt, juice and coffee. Family and business clientele. For the price you can't ask for anything more. I highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay here at hotel cali Plaza. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is great as there are many areas of interest with in walking distance or a short cab ride.
