Ideal for the railway

I stayed here as base for going to Newmarket races, easy to get to the station as its over the square and lots of shops and cafes in the station square. I had a good pizza in the hotel bar area on Friday.

Expensive for not being able to connect.

Wifi is unacceptably bad and the TV won't even load the TV guide. The bathroom is stupid as has a step and a door which only pulls shut, so you can't close it quietly. Fine if you're on your own, not if you are sharing and its the middle of the night!! £190 for rubbish wifi and a rock solid bed just isn't ok.

The hotel is in a good position if you've come by train, however let down by being a bit tired. The twin beds were very narrow, and were pushed together to start with. Pushing them apart revealed a dirty floor. It was ok but I won't stay here next time.

Ideally situated next to Cambridge train station, but still quite a walk into the centre. However plenty of taxis outside and cheap uber gets you to centre easily.

Great hotel

Our stay was really good stayed 2days went with my son to see a concert , at the corn exchange, we had a twin roon which was very clean and very comfortable, the staff were very helpful when we booked in and out , we have used this hotel many times , very convenient for getting tothe main amenities, and next to the train station and also a bus service which is very convenient
