Thought hotel was right on the water - IT IS NOT. Has a view of harbor over parking lots…. Breakfast was really poor. Sametasteless items each morning. Rockland itself wasn’t the artsy community it makes itself out to be. Many empty storefronts on Main Street with only a few open galleries.

Exceptionally clean, well located for tourist options, great breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable beds, large rooms with balcony overlooking ferry terminal and harbor. Warning for over 80s - no grab bar in tub and step down into corridor leaving room but that will not stop us from staying here again.

We went off season and liked the location - convenient to Camden, Rockport, Thomaston, etc - walking Rockland is wonderful - shops that were open were great - open restaurants were good - local people awesome. Hotel offered more options than normal for free breakfast including eggs and meats. Great balcony facing the working harbor and Vinelhaven Ferry - would love to see some hardscaping or landscaping in front of hotel parking lot once new road paving is done (soon). Beach is at other side of town - town might want to provide more parking options once summer season hits. Or are there shuttles? Love this town and Maine vibe - without the "elite" reputation. It is true Maine. We will come again!

Myself and daughter enjoyed our stay. It was clean and quiet, and the breakfast had quite a few options to choose from to start your day with. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The only issue we encountered, was that the water in the bathroom took a long time to go down in the sink. Other than this issue, our stay was a pleasent one!
