The front desk lady was honestly one of the best I’ve encountered in my 45 years in this world. I’ve travelled for work at least 25 years and have stayed is too many hotels to count. All this is to say that in all my years, I’ve never sent a review…good or bad. But this particular lady went above and beyond. She took a concern I had with the wellbeing of a person staying above me seriously, and I wanted to recognize her for that. Stayed here for one night as we were passing through Camrose. The hotel was nice. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of items to chose from for. Breakfast. Would stay here again.

Casino staff is great. Hotel staff seemingly indifferent to their customers. I get the sense they are short staffed. That falls on the owners and management not on the people who work there. Food at breakfast was inedible. And you don't know until you get there but this hotel is outside of Camrose and cab service isnt readily available.

There were not quite enough lights in the room. Also a table and a lamp on both sides of the bed is more convenient than just on one side. The lamp in the room did not work. Otherwise, it was a nice size room and clean.

Couldn't check in with the Visa I used to book online because it was my husbands Visa and his first name was different. I have never had this issue before and the clerk made it uncomfortable and awkward. I then asked if I could put the deposit on a different card and was denied that. At this point I just want to check in and goto sleep as it was late. Then, checking out in the morning the clerk accused me of smoking in the room because she found a lighter on the ground and "marijuana residue on a table. I did not smoke in the room but I did roll a cigarette and joint. The clerk was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Refused to give me back my property and refused to refund the deposit. So I asked for a Manager and she said she was the Manager and the only one. I called BS. She then threatened me with security. I said go ahead..we need more people to sort this out. They never came to help her and Finally a real Manager Showed up. By now my ride had been waiting for almost an hour and I had to leave.

Staff was great to deal with. The room on the other hand was not worth the money spent. Walls and floors are super thin, you can hear conversations through the walls and if someone is walking around you’ll think they are in your room. Linens were ripped and old. Asked for a replacement and it was ripped worse than the original ones. The shower floor was weak and felt like it was going to fall through the floor. The restaurant was horrible, the food was cold and undercooked. Would not recommend this place at all.

Room was good. Staff was good. Lounge food and staff was good. Front desk was very helpful. Took the extra time to assist helping us downgrade our room, as we no longer needed a multi room / bed room, as our plans had changed last minute. We tried to make the necessary changes through Expedia but were unable to on our own. We proceeded to contact them for further assistance. After about 30 minutes, we were left with being told to “contact them when we are 15 min from hotel”. They can’t do anything for us. As frustrated as we were, we kindly followed the instructions given. We contacted them when we got into town. I don’t even know if Expedia even tried to contact the hotel the second time, or were just yanking chains at this point . . . regardless, we were told Expedia couldn’t help us. Only hotel can. Which is so strange, because any time we’ve asked for an adjustment previously, the hotels ALWAYS say, you have to go through Expedia! So which is it ?!? Anyways . . . Thank you front desk for giving us a nice end to our looong day. Thank you for the extra help. Expedia wasn’t helpful- AT ALL ! ! ***Also, Expedia DIDN’t refund us what you said they would (customer service rep was quite indignant!) ***

The expedia booking is great no concern . The hotel is run down the pool is filthy n it closed the 2nd day . They chsrge 100 depsit on credit card that no othet hotel charges if oay by credit card . The staff is unfriendly and the free breakfast is very discusting i stayed there twice n terrible twice in my opinion that hotel shoukd ge6 shut down . Ive put in a complaint and trying to get that place shut down poorly ran

Quiet time apparently begins at 10pm. We were on the 3rd floor and it sounded like the folks in the room above us were herding elephants until midnight. Not sure how many kids were in that room but when they jumped off of their bed, we can feel the shaking in our bed. Walls and ceiling seem to be quite thin or under insulated so quite loud.
