We stayed here for easy access to Liberia airport and so glad we found it! Everything you need is on the property so we didn’t even leave. Restaurants, free breakfast, hot springs, entertainment for family. Rooms very comfortable. Every night we enjoyed amazing sunsets at bar/restaurant-definitely a highlight! Also saw lots of wildlife around property.

Adding a simple American food type to each meal buffet like a , hot dog or Mac n cheese, chicken fingers - inexpensive easy to prepare, all ages. Save toilet paper and waste with a powerless bidet seat 40$ Costco. Hygienic and an experience too! Improve the experience and save money

This is like staying at a cabin over summer break when you were a kid. All you need and clean just not like a hotel or resort room. I did not mind but my husband would have liked more comforts. I loved the whole resort, and experience would definitely come back. Food was amazing and the most beautiful sunset I think I have ever seen. People were friendly and helpful, activities were all so much fun. It was off the beaten path. Not super close to anything. Plan on staying here for activities.

We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere here and being surrounded by wildlife. The sunset view from the Mirador restaurant was stunning! The food was good and the staff were friendly. The included breakfast buffet was amazing.

This is a remote location, with limited Wi-Fi, but it was fantastic. Plenty of adventures during the day, and service is friendly and informative. Carlos was brilliant at El Mirador, and gave us plenty of useful tips for the rest of our stay in CR.

Exceptional location with a commanding view of the Costa Rican West Coast and Pacific Ocean. Stunning sunsets from the restaurant and bar at the top of the hill. Wonderful selection of activities in and around the property, with trips to the hot springs, horseback riding, water slide, cultural demos, etc. Only shortfalls might be road access (it is very rough) and lack of a store for snacks or other necessities.

Buena Vista del Rincon is an excellent place to experience various Costa Rica experiences in single place. It is located in the gorgeous place with great scenery around, and a lot of wildlife - we've seen various beautiful birds, a few kinds of monkeys, agouti, coati, iguanas, etc. The place offer's day pass which includes all the activities for a single price - I'd strongly suggest using it. We stayed just 2 nights, but managed to squeeze in all the activities. It would be easier if we stayed 3 nights though. The whole place is very well managed and runs as an efficient machine - everything goes on time, and crew makes sure to keep all the requests met. The food in breakfast and lunch buffet is Ok (not the gourmet options, but sufficiently alright). The place is clean and well maintained.

The pool was much smaller than it appears on the website. When we arrived the hot tub was drained and the pool bar closed, so not a great first impression. However, the Mirador restaurant has an amazing view and a delicious menu. We enjoyed the hot springs although it was a bumpy 20 min tractor ride away. Slide was fun for my son. Breakfast was excellent.

This place was so disgusting bugs in the bed not clean front desk kept trying to charge us for every little thing. Contacted Expedia canceled our reservation and went to another hotel. Upon arrival the locals around there live in a lot of poverty and have underage workers.
