Excellent stay, although we had a few issues with a blocked drain in the shower. The room was well thought out and the lightening was really well done. Excellent mini bar options and a fantastic cafe on the ground floor. Would have been 5 stars but for the shower issue (which took three calls to reception - the first night, the next morning and then later the first afternoon - once the shower was checked, we were moved to a new room).

We woke up at 7 in the morning with a terrible noise of construction work and drilling from the adjacent lot. It is true that they changed our room on the second day, but it is not clear why we were given a noisy room in advance when they had quiet rooms available.

The property is conveniently located, particularly to explore Floriade. However, it is rather noisy - insulation is poor, and you can hear every noise from the corridor in your room. The finishing touches are far from 4 or 5 star property - exposed concrete walls feel like construction site and kitchen has the cheapest utensils and machines. There aren’t any features that a nice hotel would have such as slippers or bath robes. Overall, not worth the price we paid.

The hotel was accessible to the good restaurants in Civic and also to the NGA and Floriade. We preferred to walk rather than wait for public transport and enjoyed the experience. Canberra is so pretty in the spring. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. Only problem was there weren't any bathrobes in the room. There also wasn't any kind of a view from our room; we just looked at the office building next door. There is a construction site just outside the main entry but, as it was the week-end, no-one was working.

We loved our stay. Hotel was in a perfect location, walking distance to great cafes and shopping area. We were lucky to get an upgrade upon arrival and staff were happy to store our bags before and after check in. Would definitely rebook on our next trip to Canberra

Lovely Room but Unfortunately our tv didn’t work but did offer to move our room but we had already unpacked at that stage,check in was slightly delayed but did compensate us with some wine so that was very generous. Overall a lovely hotel to stay at and nice staff.
