A mixed experience. The location, room and the EV charging stations were great. The promised bottle of wine on arrival has shrunk to a half bottle. The dining room was disappointing. The Waggu beef was ordinary and had lumps of grissel. We were told the window tables were already booked but remained unoccupied.

Alarming stay

Restaurant not available due to function but no notification prior. False emergency alarm in evening which wrecked my sleep was worsened by confusion from staff. Loudspeaker message incomprehensible .

Lovely old style hotel. Very quick check in. Lovely spacious room. Only complaint was the water leaking from shower door into bathroom area. Need more towels to mop up water.

Property is lovely, with an old-world feel and staff are friendly, however, rooms, whilst clean and modern, are very small. Also, service is reactive and often requires approaching the staff to obtain assistance or remove drink ware, instead of this being offered. Nonetheless, it represents good value and is in a convenient location.

Comfortable and convenient

We have stayed here many times over the years. The rooms have always been comfortable and spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance of the NGA, Parliament House and other attractions.
