The property will be one of the best budget in the future, still a lot to do and also the properly is getting hit by the mother nature, they allow people to be as they want, I highly recomend this place to make it bigger

Pools were great, both the main and the rooftop. Staff were friendly and the food was good, but service a bit slow as they seemed short staffed. The beach was private, but not very nice as it was in a mangrove area. The spa and other amenities were not open. Lots of potential but they still have work to do

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night! Beautiful hotel with a very original concept. The staff is amazing!! Very friendly and pleasant! Thank you Louis, Carla and Any for taking good care of us! The room was spacious with a beautiful ocean view. Guest amenities were heavenly, very high quality the body gel especially! The rooftop pool is amazing to watch sunsets in. There is a bit of construction noises but at the end of the day a person has to see the bright side of things. Earplugs are recommended for sleep as you can hear cars driving at night due to the hotel being next to the highway. The walk to the beach is beautiful and peaceful, mosquito spray is recommended. We had breakfast included in our stay, it’s not a buffet, we had 2 options to choose from either pancake fruits, gem, butter, juice and coffee or bread and everything else mentioned above. The pancakes were good. At night we had dinner in the authentic Mexican restaurant, they offered us complimentary bites and we had the ceviche and the shrimp garlic, the ceviche was heavenly a must try, the shrimp garlic was really good as well. The hotel is new and they are working on bettering it, the effort was visible and appreciated. The staff made our stay so much better!

Restaurant staff and bar staff are great. Room was bug infested. We spent more time killing bugs then enjoying the room. No coffee in the room. All the great pictures online are lies. All the wood is rotted and things are broken everywhere. Beach is super dirty. Most things are closed. Rooftop pool is the best. Other pools are dirty and unusable. Smell of raw sewage everywhere. They are understaffed for the upkeep. Stay somewhere else!

Loved my stay at this resort it was amazing S/O to all the cool and fun staff that helped me on this solo trip. Despite being a bit further down the road from all the action of the city, the room was wonderful at a wonderful cost the restaurant was great. sometimes at night the motorcycles driving by are super loud but the maid leaves Ear plugs to help. Can't wait to go back. If you need amazing excursions just ask at the main desk In the lobby plenty of great options.

our stay was nice. the resort is very nice and intimate, love the swim out pool, food was good, staff were attentive and friendly. did not like i had to shower with cold water everyday.. they even changed my room and the water was still cold. did not like how it is not all inclusive you have to pay for food and drinks.. the beds were not comfortable. other than that i would rate it a 6/10.

Left early due to all the inconveniences this resort had to offer. The beach was infested with jelly fish, the lobby smelled of sulfur, the room was hot and the wooden structures around the resort are a lawsuit waiting to happen. The pools were dirty and to top it all off, they were dishonest and said we couldn’t get our refund for the days we didn’t stay due to the payment being made through Expedia. That is totally false according to Expedia since Akuazul resorts are the ones to approve the refund. When I asked the people at the front desk if we could get the money back, they said it shouldn’t be a problem and would let us know 72 hours after checkout. Well it’s been 10 days since checkout and they just told me they can’t…. Sounds like they just want the money to me. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice, with a great balcony. Good restaurant, and the included breakfast is perfect for a small daily breakfast. It’s fruit, with granola and peanuts, and toast or a pancake. Plus coffee and juice, really all I needed. The service is really good, as it’s a smaller hotel. I would come back, especially for the price

Super friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean, hotel was very nice (especially at night) , about a 10min drive (~8-10$ uber ride), food at the restaurant was very good and not expensive , they have a great habanero salsa. Continental breakfast was delicious (fruit & coconut granola and fruit sauce platter) Only minor downsides is the AC could be a bit stronger but a tip is to ask for an extra key so you can have the AC running whenever you leave and the room stays cool. Another small thing is the roadnoise, but honestly it never bugged me or kept me from sleeping. But these arent major and for the price, this hotel is not bad at all. Buses were able to pick us up at this hotel for our tours and uber eats able to deliver- I would stay here again if i was looking for a room off the main strip.
