This property has a lot of potential due to its beach. Let me start by saying the beach is absolutely beautiful. The property overall looks deteriorated. The buffet is too small for the amount of guests staying at Krystal Grand Cancun and Altitude tower. Not that many options to choose from. Cocktails are not good unless you’re staying at the Altitude tower and get them at the bar at the Altitude tower. The Moskito beach Club also has so much potential, not recommended. It’s a blessing that you have good food at the dinner restaurants or else you would be hungry for the most part of your stay. The service was very hit or miss. We had some amazing staff like Janer(concierge),Yair and Lucy(bar tenders), Roberto(waiter at Altitude tower breakfast and Moskito BC), Mariana(Altitude tower check in desk) and Monica(Moskito BC) but the other half were very annoyed/dismissive. Also be aware that this property does not have a/c, there is a/c only in the rooms and the Altitude tower. Not much night entertainment during our stay. So if you don’t mind not having many food choices for breakfast, lunch or snacks, bad tasting cocktails and an amazing beach go ahead and book this resort but make sure to book at the Altitude tower. Would I book again?Only if it was at a super cheap price or free. This is coming from someone that has been at other Cancun resorts, so if this is your first time at a Cancun resort maybe is not that bad. Hope this is helpful.

The staff was great. Many foods and drinks are not included in the all inclusive packages and that was disappointing. The pool and beach areas are beautiful but very boring because they have to activities to keep the guest actively and having fun.

This was our second time staying at the Altitude at Krystal Grand Cancún. Pros are friendly staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms. You can walk to restaurants or convenience stores. Always felt safe. Pools are immaculate! Beach is the best! Most staff knows how to speak English decent so that is a huge plus. Cons would be that I had to request blankets and towels a few times before I received them. Food is average not great. Overall a great experience. I would recommend.

The air condition need to be updated it was very hot, I had to complain for them to move me to another room with a working air conditioner, I have been to this resort about 9 times because of the location of the beach but next time I may pay a little more and stay at Hyatt Ziva (next to)

Pasamos nuestras vacaciones en la torre Altitud del hotel Grand Kristal, Han sido 5 día fabulosos! La atención esmerada de todos hicieron todo porque nuestra estancia fuera maravillosa. El personal es atento y profesional, desde nuestra housekeeping, los camareros Celerino at infinity pool, Juan en la playa mosquito, los camareros del restaurante Risotto, hasta todos en el spa (en especial a Jobita ) Las habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas, el hotel impecable. A nuestro gusto la mejor experiencia fue en el Risotto restaurant!! Si tuviéramos que señalar algo no tan positivo sería la escasa variada en el bufete. Un especial GRACIAS a Mariana la concierge y a Janer de Expedia que estuvieron pendientes de todo y complaciendo nuestros más pequeños antojos.

Altitude was great but you still have to share with Krystal Grand and ir is OLD and dirty. Bathrooms always closed. Dinner closes at 11pm, alcohol 12pm at bar. NO AC nowhere to keep cold only Altitud Bar that closes at 11pm. Only one staff at bar serving two hotels.

Originally booked Altitude. Was not given any communication beforehand that the AC had gone out and they were not opening the Altitude. They are not willing to give any discount for moving you to the old building. Was expecting something modern and nice and ended up in the old building hot and where the elevators did not work most of the time. Food was not good I’m buffet and they did not have kid options. Only reason giving it 1 star is bucease some of the staff were nice. Will not book here again.

My family and I spent 5 days at this resort. We enjoyed the facility, as the beach access was perfect for us. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Reyna (our housekeeper) she went above and beyond while taking care of our room. As well as Janer (our agent through Expedia), he managed our reservation as well as the cabanas by the beach. My family and I felt safe and welcomed throughout our stay from the minute we checked in, including when we were on the beach. The staff made this vacation awesome and I would come again.
