Upon arrival check in was easy only part is we got there before 3pm just about an hour before checking in and had to wait until exactly 3pm to check in. Staff was ok except an altercation with one of the host in the lobby entering my personal space to get drinks, that was very disappointing and rude. She gave no acknowledgment to my spouse and I and kept doing it. The only food that was great was the breakfast buffet and the steakhouse everything else was no as expected and the hibachi was very salty. In regards to entertainment this resort lacked tremendously, with the weather of course being a factor, there should have had other things implemented to satisfy clientele. Also there was no water for a lengthy amount of time with no accommodations made for that inconvenience.

The water smelled like gutter, gave me skin issue. The amenities are not included if you want to sit by the pool you have to pay for chairs and cabanas. The bartender was rude and drinks were terrible

Hotel, food drinks were all good. Not much entertainment daily. Beach sucked locals with small children over ran it and trash all over. Kids throwing sand at each other and all around. Sea grass all over shoreline. Room was great very comfortable bed. Housekeeping was great. Room service took long time to get. Would not repeat here.

Would not recommend this property to anyone. I cancelled well before my cancellation time put in place with Expedia and yet they still charged me even though I was at another resort in Ocho Rios. Messaged multiple times about the situation and never heard back from anyone. Reached out to Expedia and they messaged the hotel multiple times as well with no response. Absolutely joke that they send me reviews for “how was your check-in” and “how was your stay” when I never checked in and never even visited their hotel. So even though I cancelled well before the cutoff, they still decided to keep my money and charge me for the full stay even though I never even went to Cancun and their resort. Would not recommend because if they treat people this poorly who don’t even visit their establishment, I can’t imagine how they treat those that actually do go.
