Two week stay-Double jacuzzi flooded the room through crack in floor first day New room-double jacuzzi was tepid to cold with non-functional jets the entire stay Hotel did not allow our family to join us at the restaurant Security stared at guest the whole time during pool use making several women, my partner and myself uncomfortable -partial refund request rejected when Expedia reached out

The room smelled of mold when i first walked in. There was mold on the a/c vents that the air wasvblowing out. There was mold all alongvthe back of the sofa in the room. Mold was also behind the bathroom door..i have pictures of these complaints if needed. The staff was great. ,butvthe property was invrough shape. The cushion to lay on around pool and on beach are tornvand dont smell good..pool had a weird sheem floating on top of water

Convenient location for grocery stores, access to walk in the beach side, incredible view and good hospitality. However AC stopped working in one of the nights and had to be turned backed on, wear and tear of the room and jacuzzi did not have hot water.

Do NOT stay here! The photos on Expedia are completely misleading — the hotel looks nothing like what’s advertised. The property is run-down and there is black mold throughout the building, including around the pool area, making it unsafe and unhealthy. The staff were extremely unwelcoming, constantly hovering and harassing guests over minor things. Their endless policies and restrictions make you feel like you’re being babysat, not on vacation. To make matters worse, this hotel is not LGBT-friendly and lacks even the most basic hospitality. The pool view was the only thing that seemed nice at first, but even that was falling apart and covered in mold. This place should be shut down and immediately removed from Expedia. Truly a horrible experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

This experience at cyan resort has been horribly disappointing, From the beginning . They put us in A moldy damp smelling room, With 2 double beds and no balcony. When we had a king size bed reservation with a balcony . After they changed us to another room also with no balcony . Extremely moist . Couch was wet with stains . Foul moldy smelling odors. A serious mold issue that has to be tended to immediately. All our clothes in the room were damp from how much moisture that is in the air . In a general everything in the hotel is falling apart . Nothing is up to date maintenance wise . The resort looks nothing like the photos that are advertised on the website. It’s giving more of a motel than a resort . Every hotel on the beach has there seaweed raked & cleaned up yet it’s piled up in front of this resort untouched.The employe also told us we can not drink anything including bottled water at the beach . There’s mold & algae in the pool as well as tiles falling off and the lights on the pool are broken and wireesxposed.I have photo and video evidence of the things that I’m mentioning. An employee has been Harassing us nonstop our whole stay , I don’t know if it’s because He’s discriminating against our sexual orientation, race appearance , or the fact that we are woman. But we feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. He follows us around no matter where we go or what we’re doing he’s watches us all day long . And constantly reprimands us when we’re literally doing nothing .

Cyan Hotel in Cancun is a very affordable hotel, along the southern part of the Hotel Zone. The facility is well maintained, most of the staff are friendly and helpful. But if it wasn't for the convencience store "OXO" across the street, you would be forced to eat mediocre food at very high prices.The pool is beautiful but the Caribbean beach is filled with sea weed and not very appalling.The house keeper was wonder. She left towel animals daily on our bed. We were there 3 weeks in August and as long as we rented a car again, we will be back.

Everything was just a few minutes away to walk the beach near by is super clean and has a restaurant you can eat on the beach. There is a club next door that is great as well . Their wasn’t many people staying in the hotel since we came in a Saturday and Monday so we had the pool all the ourselves most the time it was very relaxing .

The bathroom ceiling was leaking water constantly. We were told they would fix it in an hour but they could not, then said in another 2 hours, we went outside for lunch and came back after 4 hours, it was still not fixed. We were eventually made to downgrade to a room without jacuzzi and without the immediate infinity pool access on the ground floor. I hope they will refund us as they have promised.

No hot water the entire stay. Paid for jacuzzi suite and couldn’t even utilize. Staff would enter the room even when being told not to! Very uncomfortable as I was not dressed! Entered without permission on a couple occasions. You will be sharing your stay with bugs also. I was told I would be receiving refund and haven’t received that either.

When I went to check out they went to check the room and said that they where missing a hand towel and charged me for it. They accused me of stealing basically. They should take the guest when they go check the room
