Room & linens were clean, however one of the nights there was a leak coming from the ceiling. Great air conditioning in the room. Was disappointed in the sports bar; playing kids movies during the football & baseball games (there were no kids watching the movie). Making reservations with a large group was very difficult. Good variety of food options.

The Resort was beautiful, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Being a resort with Kids I was nervous but it was not that bad with having the Adults only pool and Area. The Food was ok but very bland everywhere we went. I think the best food was served at the Wedding Reception and Wedding rather than at the Restaurants that were on ground. 2 of the Restaurants were closed so there were less options also. Only bad thing I would say is when it rains the pathways and are areas flood and are VERY slippery. Staff do their best to push the water away, but the type of stone used when wet is not friendly. Saw many people fall and 1 even had to have medical attention. Overall compared to all the resorts I have been to this was Average.

Decent, but wouldn’t return

This was our first time at Dreams Riviera. We absolutely loved the staff! Everyone was so nice, kind and helpful. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. There also isn’t a bad room as far as location. Each room has a good view. Next time I would definitely splurge on our own plunge pool. Those rooms looked amazing. We loved the kids pool. Here are some things we didn’t like: -Most of the elevators weren’t working, so we had to take the stairs up 4 floors multiple times a day. -They ran out of towels very often at the pool. -We are pretty sure we had sand fleas in the room. There was a lot of sand on the floor upon arrival and we were so itchy in our room! -The food was awful, like really bad. -There’s no privacy in the room. The bathroom and shower have a glossy glass door and doesn’t close at the top, so if one person goes to the restroom, everyone can hear and smell it. We didn’t love that.

Overall the resort is great. Staff is wonderful. Not much of a party resort, definitely more one the quiet side which we liked. My only complaint were the restaurants. Every restaurant was not open every night. So guest had long wait times at the ones that were because there was no time limit for how long guest could be at the table. Very frustrating to see people just talking and you are waiting to eat. If you aren’t going to open all the restaurants impose a 60-90 minute table maximum so everyone can eat. They do offer 24 hour room service as an option, but I think guest should be able to enjoy everything that comes with being at an all inclusive resort because it’s what we all paid for.
