This was my first time in Mexico, and it was great. The resort was huge, very comfortable, spacious, with multiple pool options, a lazy river, and a gorgeous private beach.
There are 11 restaurants on the property, but not all are open at the same time. They have released Vegan menus at all restaurants, but while we were there, they weren't available due to missing ingredients.
We went to:
- Spice (Japanese). Great Hibachi experience, you need to book for this.
- The Kitchen Table (International) Only visited for breakfast and lunch. The continental breakfast was fantastic, and the lunch was great too, with a salad buffet bar and an à la carte menu.
- The Grill (Meat). Went for dinner. The food was great, but had limited veggie options.
- The Lobster House (Seafood). Went for dinner. Delicious!
- Agave (Mexican). Went for dinner. The food was good, but after going to the other restaurant, this was our least favourite.
We didn't get to go to Chez Isabelle (French cuisine), but everyone says it's amazing!
Overall, the food was the best I've had at an all-inclusive hotel so far.
The amenities were great. Lovely beach area, good gym, nice pools and bars! There was always some activity going on, which was nice (e.g. beach volleyball, water volleyball, water aerobics, cocktail making, etc.)
The only thing that let us down was the room, as it smelled of damp and mould. But they moved us once we made them aware.
Their service was great. Everyone was very kind and happy.
