We paid for a king size ocean view. They only had double beds that they wanted to push together. We were willing to do that until we saw the room’s view. It had a high window that maybe you could see the ocean, it reminded us of a dorm room. We ended up having to spend $500 more just to get a room/view we booked. All the restaurants required reservations (except the buffet). They would tell us to use the app and it never would work. I felt like everywhere we turned they needed us to pay for something, upgrade. For example white wine, PinotGrigio is not available unless you purchase a bottle. I have stayed at a lot of all-inclusives and this was the biggest disappointment. It was a lot of bait and switch. We noticed if you book through Expedia you were given a red bracelet, while everyone we met booked through a travel agent and was given purple. We felt like the red bracelet played a part on the lack of service we received. That was our observation. This resort was very KID friendly, great if you have kids. Not so much when you don’t.

The property is beautiful, the activities are lively, and the room was clean, modern with exceptional views. The list could go on but in short if you are thinking about booking this place do it!!

My last stay here. Rooms need fresh caulking, new knobs, handles, door hinges need tightening, and plain TLC. Couldn’t sleep due to flashing thermostat had to put towels to cover light. Never any fish at fisheria always saying to come early cause it sells out. Tried to order room service they never answer at night and when they did the milk was spoiled, asked for lactose free milk from area and said they didn’t have any until I pulled out $200 pesos they then brought out. 5 staff members always knocking on door first day for random things like if our tv has channels or if the temp was ok or if I needed anything and 4 different on second day… I’m like if I need something I’ll call… what if I didn’t answer would they have just came in so after the second day I asked for a do not disturb sign and eliminated unwanted staff in room. Frost desk gets irritated if you ask for change to break big bills for tips so get some beforehand if you are a tipper. I appreciate Ely massage therapist, Miguel from pool area, Leydy from buffet, Paola in crepes, Eliceo in buffet…pretty much the only reason we would keep returning and am greatful for the past years.

When we checked in, we upgraded the room. It was already after 3 PM so you would think the room will be ready, but it wasn’t. We had to wait until 445 to get into the room. Both TVs did not work. We could not drain the hot tub. They did fix one TV but didn’t even bother to look at the other. There was black mold on the curtain. Definitely was not that cleanly and room service only made the beds didn’t bring new towels nor clean up the room at all the staff at the pool and breakfast. We’re good overall I don’t think I would stay here again.

We had a lovely time at the First Americana Condessa Cancun. My name is Zachary and my wife and I stayed at FACC in October. FACC has a good selection of restaurants and places to lounge. The beach is absolutely beautiful the sand is soft and the water is clear and clean. The pools are large and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The temperature in the rooms was comfortable and the staff was diligent about cleaning the room regularly. The staff was also extremely hospitable. Nadia made an amazing impression on us. She was so kind and brought us drinks everyday even when it was raining and wee were hard to find. Joshua also was extremely welcoming. By far this was the best spa experience I’ve ever had at a resort. It’s worth going to the spa several times. The drinks were great especially if you know what to ask for most of the bar tenders make a great mango daiquiri. Overall we had such a pleasant experience. The food was as average… at least the day time food was. The ceviche spot was delicious but most of the other lunch and breakfast options felt like the flavor was dumbed down for tourists. The dinner didn’t disappoint the steakhouse and the avocado moose at the Mexican restaurant was divine. Im not super into shows but FACC had one of the best Micheal Jackson impersonators I’ve ever seen. I thought I was at a MJ concert. Ultimately the lack of excitement I feel surrounding the food is the only reason I wouldn’t go back, every other component really met our satisf
