Beautiful property wonderful staff fantastic food service and cleanliness waters were also good just my only disappointment was there was not as much “coral reef” as we would have expected to see considering it’s called grand fiesta Americana coral beach cancun, even with the snorkelling excursion we did to isla Mujeres nothing really to see under the water in terms of coral reef and sea life.

This is the first time I have ever written a review, but I felt I had to share my experience. The amount of mold throughout the hotel, including in the rooms and hallways, was very disappointing. The dampness of the beds was really unpleasant. I couldn’t stand the smell and had to ask to change rooms several times, but no matter how many times I moved, it was always the same. I wanted to switch to another hotel, but since I was traveling with children, moving around inside such a large resort was too difficult, and in the end I gave up. Other than that, the service and food were excellent, I understand that it’s a humid climate, but it was far too bad. Next time I stay in Cancun, I’ll make sure to check how old the hotel is before booking.

I like the property in general and also very nice staff. Alberto at the pool bar is the best. Hotel very clean and comfortable rooms with great space. Buffet and restaurants food in general was excellent but I can say that they have too many restrictions. I like the fact that is very elegant and great taste place, therefore at the same time it’s a place to relax and enjoy so: For example at the buffet you have to go cover like you’re not at the beach hotel on vacation, they don’t allow to enter with merch cover or men’s with sleeveless shirts. Since it’s a family hotel were kids are welcome in more than one restaurant (Japanese and Contoy) kids are not allowed. How is suppose that? Also at night time the majority of the bars and place closed too early and there is nothing open but a night club just for drinks and dance and the room services. So if you want to be up late and party more time that it’s not the pace.

The property tried to charge me more as soon as I arrived. Saying that they count children as 3 and under I told them I entered the ages on Expedia and they insisted that they didn’t receive ages and the children ages 10, 7, and 17 had to count as adult pricing. After a stressful 30 minute time with Tanya manager Antonio finally came out and said they wouldn’t charge us more. It was a terrible start but the stay was wonderful after that ordeal.

Great spot for families or groups. If you are looking for a party resort this is not it. However, it is walking distance from the clubs and our group of 5 girls felt safe. The food at the resort was AMAZING. Our favorite was the sushi menu at Tori. We also went to the seafood restaurant for all our lunches and the breakfast buffet is great. The only points knocked were for the rooms; the bathrooms had moldy ceilings. Other than this, it was the perfect weekend getaway!

Grand Fiesta resort is well maintained, clean and friendly atmosphere. Staff at restaursnts , room service and housekeeping are so nice. Front desk staff and staff at restaurant bookings desk are bit not welcoming and tough. Overall it was memorable experience
