The property, staff and our stay was so wonderful. We had an ocean front room and it was lovely. Each meal we had from the breakfast buffet each morning to lunches to dinners that sometimes required a reservation were so fantastic we really couldn't decide which was our favorite! The coffee shop also had snacks, desserts, ice cream and a hot selection daily. The staff works very hard to make sure you are happy and accommodated, so we rated everything about our visit as excellent! Can't wait to stay again. ( special kudos to a few who really stood out for us-- Alex poolside, Rodrigo & Fernando at La Jolla Mexican restaurant and Alfredo at the Steakhouse).

jose and wilbert at the buffet was extremely friendly. they remembered my name and always greeted me everytime i went into eat. they brought me drinks without me asking which is a very amazing service. the resort itself was an amazing experience and i am glad i celebrated my 10 year anniversary there with my wife. We will be coming back with 16 people next year to show support and our gratefulness of the friendly staff and amazing resort.

The staff and the facility deserve much more than 5 stars!! My husband and I were literally treated like celebrities from the moment we arrived, and the resort/the ocean surrounding it are indescribably beautiful. As expected, the food served by room service and at the buffet were just mediocre, but we were able to make l reservations to dine in the restaurants each night. The steakhouse and some of the other restaurants provided food that was insanely good! The reasons I didn’t give this resort five stars is because: 1. There is very little entertainment during the day and pretty much nothing to do once the sun goes down. Yes, there are pool tables and a foosball table, but if you don’t like karaoke, there’s literally nothing else to do. Actually, there was a brief show each night, yet we didn’t find any of them entertaining (for example, there was a woman who played the violin; she was talented, yet that wasn’t our thing). It would’ve been nice if there were games, chess boards, decks of cards, etc. we could have used to pass the time. 2. Our room was literally the very last room in the east tower, so we had to do a LOT of walking back-and-forth. 3. Although our room was spectacular, there were no air vents in the huge bathroom and no window coverings on the window in the toilet area, so the bathroom was extremely hot and the toilet area ended up feeling like a sauna. Just to clarify, I would absolutely stay here again, I would just better be better prepared, asking

Pros: Beautiful hotel, great view of the ocean. Swimming pools and beach access was good. Cons: Hotel room was always wet and humid, very slippery and unsafe. In all inclusive hotel, there were not enough specialty dining options. All restaurants are full and they will not take reservations ahead of time.

We loved our visit to grand fiesta Americana coral beach. Just returning from a week vacation with 2 small children. We had a great time. The resort has a kids club and family area but would like to see more family events in the property. The best restaurant was “La joya” for an authentic Mexican experience with live mariachi !! The views from this hotel and the room were expectacular. The beach was a paradise but waves were a bit strong in May. Several pool options and small ones for children too. Lots of food and drinks. Would like to see more entertainment shows. Mexican fiesta theme was the best. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all places.
