My husband and I visited for our Anniversary. Haven was a treat. We received a sweet room upgrade and the rooms were really clean. Our room was cleaned everyday and the night time service was great. Great options for excursions and we went golfing. Food was good for a resort. The buffet was also better then I thought. The resort had other great dinner options and you can book on your phone. The beach had lots of seaweed but was cleaned every day. The 3 pools were nice but very warm. We bought transportation and it was easy to get from the resort to the airport. Staff are very nice. I was greeted everywhere from everyone from the gardner to the bartenders. Entertainment could have been a bit better but we had fun at casino night and fireworks for mexican Independence. I'm definitely hoping to book again before the year ends.

This was our second time at Haven and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time! We took my daughter and my nephew to celebrate their high school graduation. Haven did a nice job of keeping us all together, the food and pools were amazing (we really love the swim out rooms!) and the club at night was very fun!

The property, staff and service were excellent. The Haven was an experience like no other. I was definitely spoiled by the staff and service. I have never experienced service like this in the states. The food at the buffet was great. The restaurants were great. The waitstaff were great. We had the opportunity to eat at all but two restaurants. We ate at Satsu twice. There were no waiting in lines the entire 7 days. The room was comfortable with plenty of room. The jacuzzi tub on the balcony was an added pleasure after being out all day. They provided robes and slippers along with toiletries and replenished everything daily along with the minibar which had bottled water, sodas and beer. Housekeeping and room service was amazing. The pool was amazing, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The night club had activities and a show every night. The shows were fun and exciting. After the shows the dance party starts and that was fun as well. The Biggest Disappointment was that when we booked our trip, we were expecting to enjoy the other two pools, tennis courts, basketball courts and other amenities on the resort. Unfortunately, they were closed due to renovations. So that was a bummer. Hopefully I can come back in the future and experience the rest of the resort we did not get to see.

This resort is by far the best place I have ever stayed at before. The staff was professional and super courteous, and the food was superb! There was not one thing I could recommend the resort improve on. I would give the Haven Riviera 10 stars! Exceptional beyond words! I will continue to stay here every time I vacation in Cancun.

My husband I stayed here for 3 nights for our anniversary. The hotel upgraded our room due to it being a slower season for them, and they had the availability. We were upgraded to a room with can ocean view and swim out pool. IT. WAS. HEAVEN! The hotel staff was so friendly and accomodating, the food was great, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The drinks could have been made a little stronger, but other then that, everything was perfect.

The reception staff were friendly and so helpful, especially Benjamin and Sandra. We had a swim out partial ocean view room reserved. We were upgraded to an ocean front swim out. Im not sure if that was because of the construction going on or my VIP status. Levi and Paloma from the pool bar were great. They'd even come all the way out to our swim iut room to deliver drinks. Levi kept us hydrated! The food was all pretty good. The entertainment at their nightclub was the best I've seen in a while. Nicole, the waitress, took amazing care of us. We cannot wait to go back!

It was my first time in Mexico and it was not what I expected. Cancún airport is very chaotic. Plan ahead, book a shuttle to and from the airport, it should be $15USD/person. Do not get a taxi, it’s an overpriced. Town and island should avoided - feels very unsafe. We weren’t aware the property is under going renovations - half the resort is closed which makes it not worth the price. For a major renovation project like this, the resort would have known months in advance and should have notified guests or added a message on Expedia regarding it so we could make an informed decision. That said, here’s a breakdown: Food - this is okay, some dishes were great, but mostly mediocre. Drinks - well done here Music - it was loud and live DJ into the night was a lot honestly. We were looking for some quiet time but didn’t get much of this day or night. Views - beautiful ocean front property, can’t go wrong here. Beach- clean but honestly did not feel safe with people trying sell you something while you’re trying to relax. Construction- our room was right next to construction work so it was loud. Staff - they were nice, polite. Room - not sure if it’s the humidity but the room never felt clean, even though staff was cleaning it often. Sticky and just felt moist. The rooms need to be renovated, finish work is done poorly, like paint job was done poorly, cabinets and shelves were chipping. Shower didn’t feel clean, and for some reason the water just smelled bad.

The round pool was closed during our stay and we weren’t serenity club so we were greatly limited and would have booked another resort if we had known. The food was subpar by even resort standards and both my husband and I got food poisoning on day 5 of the trip. We never left the resort
