If a property doesn't want to respect the vip benefits like room upgrades and pushing the customer to pay for it... Than, why this is a VIP access hotel? If they agree in providing something they should honor what they agree. It's frustrating being a gold member and be subject under this "cheap tactics"

In all honesty I did not appreciate my stay at the Hive Cancún I will not be coming back! The customer service was terrible, I have been lied to by customer service twice, the shower was very cold , the complimentary breakfast was not for filling Nor was the food I had to pay out of pocket for , I did not enjoy it! The app that was given to me during check in , to download my key card did not work ! A beautiful couple I met at the resort informed me that they were stuck in the elevator at one point , which is very scary & traumatizing . The Hive Cancún was just not attentive to my needs at all , I was also informed that my $100 deposit will be given back to me same day at check out & wasn’t! Now I will need to call my bank ! My overall rating is 3/10 I don’t recommend

4 nights at the Hive Cancun
The sauna door was broken (due to a storm I was told) no access to the steam room or Temazcal apparently an extra fee managed by the Spa) never seen it used once not even by spa employees. They were off at all times. The jacuzzi worked great the first night then cold after that the last night it was a warm but not hot. A plus they do allow your own drinks and snacks at the jacuzzi/ pool area. There is a bar area on the first floor near the pool but drinks and food are pricey. One night they had live entertainment for one hour on the first floor near the pool area. They advertise a bar on the 4th floor but it's closed, there is a seating area. The Continental breakfast was only a small plate of fruit, coffee and or a glass of juice. Everything else was a extra charge. There is a 7/11 in the same parking lot, and a few places to eat and a karaoke bar within walking distance. Not close to the city so plan your transportation wisely.

Great and safe location. Although very busy street room has its own door that keeps noise out. has kitchenette yet no microwave and fridge is for drinks only would have expected that due to kitchenette. Did not have room ready when arriving. When leaving they were attempting to charge me for additional items such as wine and food.

Buen hotel
El hotel está muy bien, la pequeña Alberca en la habitación es pequeña pero suficiente. El staff es muy amable. No tuvimos problema para estacionamiento. Los puntos negativos son que la vista es a una zona residencial y que el desayuno en realidad es solo un café y un pequeño plato de frutas, en realidad no es un desayuno como lo anuncian.

Quite nice, would stay again. Friendly staff and great AC. Mini fridge in room and balcony. Continental breakfast is very basic though, good quality but just fruit and bread, no protein unless you pay for a full breakfast on the menu. Beautiful pool area and hot tub

The Continental breakfast consists of coffee, juice, a bowl of fruits, and two small croissants. The Wi-Fi system is horrible. Most tours won't be able to pick you up at the hotel. Overall, the experience was okay, and the staff did a good job. However, I won't recommend the hotel. I would not suggest this for any romantic travel.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something a little bit away from the hotel zone. Beautiful hotel and comfy bed with a nice roof top private pool. All staff was nice and helpful. Little far from some restaurant so definitely plan to have a taxi on call
