Beautiful beach & pool. Friendly staff. Rooms needed updating. Elevators only worked half the time. Limited places to eat. No cafe on the beach. Nightclub next door very loud until early morning.

Excellent stay at Krystal during spring break! Long dining hours. Solid food options for all-inclusive. All inclusive package allows you to make reservations at 3 of their restaurants and they are all really good. Polite staff. Very close to bars and clubs in Zona Hotelera. Excellent views, nice pool setup. Easy beach access. Clean rooms. Beautiful property. The all inclusive drinks are pretty weak though. You can have multiple without feeling drunk. We will be coming back!

Great location to both the beach and tourist attractions. Cleanliness could be better for individual guest rooms. Really wish they would take into consideration how many people are in a room, we traveled with our two children and every day we had to request additional towels because housekeeping only left two.

The white sand beach, blue, clear water was amazing. The pools were nice. Check in was terrible. Charged us a resort fee in US dollars. We are from Canada and brought Pesos for this but wouldn’t accept. Front staff man very rude. Room was awful. Furniture damaged, dirty lights, bathroom toilet wouldn’t stop running. Went to have shower and shower button came out in hands and shot straight up to ceiling. Arrived late evening and had to wait and speak with manger in the morning. we spoke with her and she relocated us to another room. Was Okay. Resort very tired everywhere. Food buffet the same everyday. EXTREMELY LOUD all hours of the night 4am!!! No nightly entertainment and felt unsafe off resort. This is a college party hotel. Do not recommend for families or people over 30. Tipping was expected for everything. Nice to have Starbucks coffee shop but had to pay. Small shops inside were nice.

View was fantastic but the hotel was Noisy, service was lacking, sanitation in the bar, reusing disposable cups, limited reservation times if any available at special restaurants, elevator buttons broken, rowdy guests.

They stole my wallet out of my room with my passport and id in it when it was in my room and my doors didn’t have a security lock on it so it was easy for anyone to walk into our room which is extremely scary! The food was horrible we ate off the resort the entire stay of our trip! We had a screaming baby next door to us that kept us up allll night and all they did was drop off ear plugs! Not the complimentary sparkling wine i was supposed to receive because of the inconvenience! Everything was all inclusive but still had to sign receipts like we were being charged! I wouldn’t recommend staying here again and will not be referring anyone here

The hotel accommodations and amenities was good. The buffet restaurant food was horrible , dinner was the worse and the other 3 restaurants didn’t have many reservations available while I was there. So I paid for all inclusive and I had to go out to have dinner. The bar was also very crowded, not many servers and the drinks tasted like was water down.

Never again would I stay here. The food was horrible. We purchased the all inclusive package and we ended up dining outside because the food was bad The room had mold in the washroom ceiling. We told the staff and they didn’t bother switching our room. I don’t recommend this place

We arrived on March 14th and we weren't able to book our dinner because all the restaurants were full even if we paid all inclusive, we had to go outside and paid for dinner in another place. They should have a restaurant where you don't have to make a reservation for dinner, since it's always full.

Property was outdated. Food was not the best, fruit was fresh and delicious. Meats were chewy and mostly bland. Room was very much outdated, we couldn’t control the temperature inside and it was super cold at night. We plan to visit Cancun again. Just try another resort!

I had a good stay at Krystal Cancun everybody was so nice and attentive. The hotel itself is old but they do try their best to keep it clean. There is an issue with one of the elevators at times it gets stuck if more than 6 people ride on it which can sometimes be inconvenient to just have one working. Also the bad experience of getting stuck in the elevator can be overwhelming. But overall I would stay again because it is very convenient and close to other clubs, restaurants, shopping mall, pharmacy, ferry. The food was good compare to other resorts plus the hotel is affordable. I would definitely stay again.
