Pros:
- Hotel is close to the airport, about 22 mins.
- Property was quiet and not crowded when we visited in October.
- Staff are friendly and very helpful.
- Pools are clean and not crowded
- Very family friendly and has a kids club
- The property is slowly showing its age but it is well-maintained.
- I really enjoyed the food from the restaurants- Frank and Lola's Italian and the asian fusion restaurants, Taco house and beach house. The asian fusion could use more kid friendly menu.
Cons:
- The shower walls and floors has brown coloured tiles and small patterns which I found irritating. There was quite abit of brown grout in-between the tiles. I didn’t look forward to showering and I always wore bathroom slippers to shower. With the brown colour, its hard to tell how dirty the shower area is.
- The tap water had a strong rotten smell coming from it. Not sure if this because of the hurricane season time of year.
- The area rug in our room could use some deep cleaning or complete replacement.
- Our rooms were never cleaned on time. The staff typically comes between 1-3pm and that usually falls within the nap time for our toddlers. We'd tell them to comeback in a couple of hours. Sometimes they did and other times they didn’t or forgot.
- Food variety is limited, especially for the breakfast and room service menu.
Overall, our stay was okay.
