Out of the five days we stayed there we could only have two reservations in those five days. We were never told we could only make reservations two times. The buffet they had barely had any food options and it wasn't even that good. We had to go out to eat because they never had space to go eat there since the restaurants and buffets they had were so small. To go make a reservation the staff there were so mean and not being professional.

It was a mixed experience. The biggest highlight was the restaurant staff — they were truly the gem of the place. Service at the buffet (Albatross) and other restaurants was consistently attentive and friendly. The pool games and organizers also added a fun, lively energy to the pool area that we really appreciated. Another plus was the 24-hour snack bar, which my son absolutely loved. That said, there were several drawbacks. The food was hit or miss — some dishes were great, but many were bland or disappointing, especially at the buffet. A major frustration was being constantly approached by staff trying to sell local tours. Even after declining once, we were asked repeatedly, which became annoying. We did end up booking an Isla Mujeres tour through the resort, and it was a huge letdown. We asked to spend most of the day at the beach, but were instead shuttled through a tight schedule with little beach time, bad food, and overcrowded areas. It felt misleading and not worth the price. The resort itself reminded me of a La Quinta — decent for the price but definitely in need of some updates. As our first resort experience, it gave us a better idea of what to look for next time.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Needs Major Improvements I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations. One of the most concerning issues was the lack of customer service, especially for non-Spanish-speaking guests. It became clear very quickly that if you don’t speak Spanish, you’re likely to feel ignored or unwelcome. Communication was difficult, and there was little effort made by staff to bridge that gap. Food quality was another major disappointment. Meals were consistently bland, poorly prepared, and lacking in variety. It did not meet even basic standards for a resort experience. The atmosphere at the hotel was chaotic and unprofessional. There were no clear or enforced rules by the pool or common areas. I personally witnessed guests touching other people’s belongings with no intervention or supervision by staff. The managers, instead of maintaining order, seemed more focused on appearing friendly rather than addressing real issues. The beach area was loud and overcrowded, which made it impossible to enjoy a peaceful experience. The rooms were not clean, and the overall maintenance of the property was poor, leaving a negative impression from the moment I arrived. This was not the relaxing or enjoyable stay I had hoped for. I cannot recommend this hotel to others, especially to international travelers expecting basic service, cleanliness, and respect. The hotel needs significant improvements in customer service,

We loved our stay at the resort… pictures asr just as they appear…. the staff was amazing and it was very clean The only thing I felt was off was the room doors Our room faced the street and u can hear traffic all night and u can see the light shining in through the seams of the door… so maybe a door upgrade…the air was not working when I first got there but the maintenance guys came up and fixed it asap No issues there. Maid service was delayed so we had to wait for an additional 45 mins to get to our room.. however they did tell us we could eat and drink and use the facilities while they finished up Overall it was great.

There are good and bad things. We will start with the good- The majority of the people that work here go all the way out of their way to give you excellent customer service. To name a few, Alfredo- Gil, he was our server for breakfast & lunch in the Albatross buffet. If you have the option to sit with him, I absolutely would! Christopher- he is a great kid who worked hard to help keep the beach clean. He is really working hard on his english! If you see him, engage in a conversation. Challenge him. He has goals, and plans but says he needs to get his English better in order to serve better. The entertainment crew- (again, a few. They were all great.) Jade (AKA Maria), Grace, & Axel you were all excellent. Axel is extremely personable and goes all the way out of his way to engage with as many people as he can. The DJ- Andres Martinez - he's pretty great! Personable.. great dancing skills, and he plays such a variety. If you have requests he will hook it up! Front desk was also excellent with their customer service. We had our room cleaned twice.. and each time it was great as well. Every staff member you see, passby, etc.. always at least smiles and says hello. Bartenders were excellent as well, in both the lobby and beach bar. For the bad and just okay: The food isn't great. It is better than Riu, but not great. Breakfast was our favorite meal. The nightly entertainment wasn't much, and the resort was dead after 10. Nothing to do. The beach is soo small. Rocky.

The location was perfect, security was right and the reaort was beautiful (beautiful). Very esthetically pleasing. Drinks were ok and plentiful. Buffet was my reataurant of choice daily for most meals. That lunch time whole fried Tilapia omg. Make sure you get that. Staff is friendly. I had a balcony room ooh child i barely wanted to leave the room. TV programming was on point and my hubby was pleased he could see his NBA finals. Beach is so nice but the water was a lil dirty (had to do with the way the sectioned it off). Water skiing option on the beach. Great choice i would stay there again and no need for xabs tge bus is right outside the hotel to take you where you want to go. That bus is a rough ride lol. Overall a great experience. Loved it

Fue terrible desde que llegamos , en la recepción hay un hombre llamado César Rodríguez omg con una actitud terrible , me dejó parada en es mostrador hasta que otra persona vio y me dijo yo la atiendo , enserio terrible , la comida super mala , llego una chica llamada Sindy a quitarme la salsa que tenía en mi mesa fue súper ruda , siempre voy a Cancún estado en muchos hoteles y jamás regreso ahí , ni por qué me lo regalen , nos trataron tan mal aparte que pagamos $1400 por persona para esas instalaciones tan malas . De verdad 0 recomendaciones.
