The property is very isolated. No public transportation, convenient stores, restaurants or attractions near the hotel Low internet speed not suitable for remote working. Otherwise the property was clean, nice staff and good size rooms.

This was the first Residence inn that I had a bad experience and stay. It needs to be modernized especially in the lounge. That’s first impression.

Spent a whole week here with my fiance. For starters; they did not honor my gold member status and wanted me to pay an additional $40 per night for an upgrade room. Even though I told them of my status. I was given a room facing the parking and loading dock where I was awaken at 5 am by a delivery truck honking right outside our window, this was on our first night after an international flight. The next day I voiced my concern to Eliel at the front desk, he could care less, I even tried asking for my upgrade again, and was told the same, $40 per night extra. Moving me was “not an option” as they “had no rooms available”. I left that same day and checked in to another hotel for that night. Went back on Wednesday and spoke to Jorge at the front desk and explained what happened to me. Needless to say, it was my birthday on this day, and I once more asked to be moved rooms where it was not facing the parking lot. He tried … he really did, and I am so thankful for him ! Even though he was not able to give us a king bedroom as I had booked, he did have 2 queens on the back side of the hotel, and that was very quiet. Kudos to him !! The upstairs bar and pool area are so nice and the food and drinks were AMAZING !!!! However … if you can hold 100000 of mosquito bites in less than 5 minutes- even with SPRAY ALL OVER MY BODY good for you. Our last night was horrible as I waited for a hair drier that never came. Check out even worst, that kid Mario should be fired!

We develop allergy during our stay even though we already cleaned and dustied the room. The room was musty and bathroom was dirty. There was a lot of hair in the bathroom and we have to sweep and wipe it our selves. Oscar the receptionist was sooo rude and unfriendly. When we complain about the room and asked for towel - he didnt acknowledge our complain and states that there was no staff to bring it up. Didnt even want to give his name when we got so frustrated. He then offered us to get transfered to a different room. When we got there - it was even worst - the room was hot and bathroom has molds. we ended up staying where we at. The place is spacious and modern but it needs thorough cleaning. There was a leak on the hallway - and hallway carpet smells. Jorge the second day receptionist was more accomodating as he saw me wearing mask and eyes swolen from dust. He had maintenance guy check the room and change air filter. It was not a good stay.

This hotel is at the end of the hotel zone so it is nice and quiet. However, because of the location, no activity is within walking distance. It is better to get a Uber because taxis are extremely expensive. The complimentary breakfast was very good and served buffet style. Get there early to insure a good selection and ample coffee. We had dinner at the hotel one evening and it was good. Our suite was roomy and well equipped with a cooktop, a dishwasher and full sized refrigerator.

We were surprised to find out that despite posting an airport shuttle on Expedia website, they did not in fact have one either way. $75 taxi from the airport for a 10 minute ride to the hotel. And a $27 uber ride back to the airport. We reserved a king size room with sofa bed. The king bed had black stains on the bedsheets. No sheets or pillows on the sofa bed, after we asked staff for linens they brought us one sheet, so we asked again for pillows and blankets, so they had to make two trips to bring us linens. One “complimentary liter bottle of water for a $150 a night room. Bummer. Staff was less than empathetic. The shower smelled like farts and mildew when you turned the water on. Not cool.
