I loved the beach, the RIU Parties, and the shows. The rooms were very nice and clean. The food was mid. Drinks were very good. Every restaurant and the outdoor eating area should have Purell stations.

This is a stunning property — be prepared for the heat because there is air condition but not in the lobby or halls to your room. It was hot hot hot!

The property itself is nice and clean. The beach access is convenient and there was always room to lounge. Things to improve would be activities for families. The parties are highly promoted but they only cater to adults not teens (ages 15-17) and the pool activities are more child-like. The food is okay. We found things appealing from each restaurant but none of them were "amazing" which is expected at a lot of inclusive resorts. The pool water is always hot. After a long beach day we would want to cool off in the pool but the water was always very very warm so a little uncomfortable at times.

Limited dining and no room service. The food at the sports bar that was 24 hours sucks. It microwave food and it was nasty. You already pay so much money you don't want to order out. Other than that the property was nice, staff was nice and beach was beautiful.

Everything was great except the front desk staff. They were so slow, we arrived at8 am and our check in was at 3, they didn’t tell us that they are firm with check in time. They told us we will send you an email when your room is ready and we came back to check at 1 and they said will be ready in 40 minutes when we came back it wasn’t the same person and the other person said check in is at 3, we got back at 3 and our room still wasn’t ready until 3:30. It was pretty bad experience and frustrating after flying at night. I don’t recommend this hotel if you are arriving early since the front desk staff are not friendly.

The lobby area is open meaning no AC and the first thing you see is a bar. Lots of noise going on in the lobby/ check in area. Kids running around. More like a college party with drinks everywhere. We checked in late because we landed late, and they said they had snacks in one of the bars that’s open 24 hours. The snacks included what looked like week old burgers and hot dogs with two slices of ham that you had to put in the microwave to warm up. I would not feed that to my dog. Food quality was horrible. Normally at all inclusive resorts there is an abundance of staff there was no one to be found. We booked a king bed for two people and received a double bed room, the ac was not functioning properly. The balcony seemed very unsafe. I’ve stayed in other RIU resorts and it was exceptional, this was however was not it. I don’t recommend this resort if you’re planning to enjoy your stay in Cancun. There’s plenty of other options. We ended up switching hotels because when we asked for a room change and were promised one we became upset and it became an issue. Price point was just not worth the 5 nights I was spending in Cancun for my birthday. Everything about this hotel was just horrible.
