This property was great in every aspect. This is an adult hotel, but lacked the entertainment like a show or discotheque. They had a white party, but we had to go to a different RIU hotel. Aside from that it is a great place for relaxing. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Hospitality was top notch, there was no hiccups from arriving to checking in to checking out. The food at some of the restaurants could use an improvement, but for an all inclusive resort, there were plenty of good options. The pools could also have been colder, as they would heat up during the day, especially the elite club pool. Overall the stay was great from start to finish.

This was a beautiful resort that's new and well kept. The reason for the four stars is because of the terrible food. I do not want to go to Mexico and be served hot dogs, hamburgers, and hot wings. There wasn't a lot of Mexican authentic food and I was very disappointed. The elite club restaurant and steakhouse were good but only open for dinner. I would not return based solely on the dining experience.

Food lacks flavor. Buffet food is basic. No variety as in other Riu properties I’ve stayed at. Pools are extremely warm, one of them felt like a hot tub. They lack evening entertainment. Daily entertainment is at another Riu which they offer free transportation to but why would I want to go somewhere else?

Such a beautiful property. The food was amazing. We would get up and go have their breakfast buffet every morning. It was also convenient when we wanted to go to one of the other sister properties theme night parties Kukulkan would have transportation every 15 min to take us there. We loved our stay here at Kukulkan and would definitely stay there again if we ever visit Cancun another time.

The property and the staff were great! The only issue we had was that the pools were way too hot and not enjoyable. They should consider topping off the pools with cold water at night. The food was great and buffet had lots of options.

Solo traveler. Had an amazing time. Everything from the room accommodations to the assistance of the staff throughout the hotel, to the all you can eat buffet was great. Also the ladies in the Renova Spa were absolutely wonderful. I am so looking to returning.
