Wait staff were excellent. Room was only okay, shower didn’t operate properly, TV didn’t seem to work. When i tried to call the front desk, there was no dial tone. Food was good but got tired of it fast. Hardly any chicken main courses.

The staff is very friendly. Resort is pretty clean and well maintained. Food is “okay” - typical resort food. Overall not bad.

This is truly a fantastic Hotel. Beautiful facility, beaches and the staff is wonderful. Food is great, with a super selection with 7 different restaurants. Clean, well maintained. This was our 2nd stay here and we will return for a 3rd next year!! Highly recommend this adult only facility.

Large room, large bathroom. As always in Mexico, stiff beds. Nice shower with plenty of toiletries. Abundant friendly & helpful staff were everywhere in the resort. Excellent breakfast & lunch buffet. Specialty restaurants for dinner were also excellent with efficient staff.

The room had a few issues, but was fine. the hotel staff was wonderful and they made note of my girlfriends birthday, without asking they gave us tequila and a cake. Very nice. Great hotel.

The staff is fantastic. Very helpful and polite. The food is pretty good and you can easily get a table in the restaurants, no reservation needed. The beach is small but adequate and there are birds and fish around. The room is good and the bed is just ok. Location is really good. Pools are fun but not a ton to do, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

This all inclusive is Perfect! As someone that has travelled the World and does not believe in all inclusives, I was impressed with The RIU. Many things were great, but the restaurants and the magnificent service needs special mention. Highly recommend!

Second time here. Would be back. Were a couple in our mid 30s and enjoyed the Riu parties, the food, the staff. Hanel from Black and White was great. He got me on a good joke. The wine was good. The night time pianist was great. Pools and property impeccably maintained. The cappuccino spot was good. Coffee would be stronger and more often smoothies to be offered please. Would be nice to have the pillows in the room and the foot cover of the bed updated. They were icky. Please keep a warm blanket for guests in the room. On the RIU app you could request the blanket though and additional pillows and amenities. We did not try the room service. The drinks were good. My favourite was the aperol spritz. It was Colld and windy and not very sunny end of Jan 2026 but thats Mother Nature. We’ll try again Nov 2026!
