Third visit to Las Americas. Seventh visit to a RIU property. Great location and a great beach. Food is good. Restaurants might need a menu refresh. Buffet always has a nice surprise. We had an ocean facing room on 5 th floor. It doesn’t have the Elite club like some of the others newer RIUs. Just a way for you to spend money on a gimmick.

Just got back from Thanksgiving in Cancun! Had an amazing trip! This hotel is the cleanest all inclusive we have stayed at. We have been to Cancun over 10 times and loved it here! The beach is beautiful and the waves are not as rough so you can actually go in and swim! The staff is wonderful! All friendly and helpful! Shout out to the entertainment team! So fun with games and exercise classes! Samantha and Michel were awesome! Can not wait to return here! We are going back!

Staff was kind and fast! Good food, in every restaurant ! Favourite was Italian and Japanese :) A bit of a room mix up the night we arrived but fixed next morning!!! Very clean resort and not to big:) Beach area was good and Bar staff was amazing !

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious and tidy. The only issues I had was constantly having my room key not work. Getting in line at reception to get my room key activated 8 times was beyond annoying. If the keys are that sensitive then provide a pouch of some sort for them or try a new technology. Also carrying around a card to get a towel was also annoying. There has to be a better way. As a vegetarian, room service was very limited. I got food poisoning from one of the restaurants and the staff was very helpful with getting me vegetable soup to me as room service only had sandwiches which I was unable to eat.
