Some of the staff appeared to need additional training. For example, I asked if I could take a plate of food (a hamburger and pizza) to my room for my wife and was told it was fine, but when I attempted to do so, I was harassed by the Captain of the dining staff and security. This created an unnecessarily uncomfortable experience. As a result, we left RIU and checked into the Excellence resort. Although it was more expensive, the difference in service was remarkable, it was worth every dollar. At Excellence, the service was impeccable, and we were never told “no.” Thank you, RIU, for pushing me to discover a resort that truly prioritizes its guests and delivers the quality experience travelers expect

I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the property, which contributed significantly to a comfortable stay. The culinary experience was exceptional, particularly at the Japanese restaurant, where the flavors were truly outstanding.

The hotel overall was very nice. The grounds are beautiful. The pools and the beach was clean. The restaurants including the buffet had a variety of food. The staff were all very friendly. The only downfall was for it to be an adults only hotel everything closed early. Pools close at 7. Enter
