Very clean, elegant, nice bars, excellent restaurants and food options. We never had a bad meal, no matter the time of day. Staff was very kind and accommodating. When staying here, one should be prepared to tip whether in American or pesos. Other currencies are available through the exchange in the lobby. I have never been to a resort with this type of all around top service. The bartenders are top touch. It is very humid so be prepared for that. Great entertainment also. Breakfast and lunch has the best, freshly prepared food ive ever seen. The beaches and views are world class.

very, very good beach. sandy, no waves. crystal clear water. Food surprisingly good. Big rooms. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in. The manager (Mrs. Soto) is a gem as are all the employees. Kudos to Adriana in reception. Our 2nd stay.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and the staff was very attentive. Even though we did not attend the parties or pool activities, the staff really tried to make everything positive. My only complain really was the cleanliness. We found a cockroach in our bathroom and did notice that at times there were some things that weren’t cleaned up in our room. We did have one rude interaction with a staff member at dinner but everyone else was very polite.

This place is amazing!!! The rooms are outdated but who cares? They are well maintained and are tip top clean. Some more modern hotel are shnasty. The pools are great. The programs were awesome. The food was plentiful. Their staff is so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back to experience this hotel. 5 starts from me!!!

This place is awesome, the staff is always wonderful and we have gotten to know several of them very well over the many years of staying here and for those reasons Riu Palace Las Americas is my favorite place to stay in Cancun !

Besides the fact I’ve reserved the hotel with enough time in advance and notify the staff that I was giving a surprise to my wife because our 10 anniversary we were moved due to overbooking. Then they promised an “upgrade” if we accept the move and that wasn’t true. In Riu Palace Peninsula the staff was great, specially Perla at the desk. They did everything posible to fix the uncomfortable situation created at Riu Plaza Las Americas.
