We booked sea facing room with enclave for 4 nights, due to connecting flight delay we could not arrive on the day, I called the reservation and talked to couple of people to request to move our stay by one day. After couple of call Mr. Hugo told me he would honor the request if I email explaining the flight issue. After his promise I moved my return flight date by one day. After changing flight they said they do not honor. As I had booked on Expedia, the Expedia agent tried to help us with no luck. I had to book another hotel for one night. If they hadn’t promised that they would honor my request I would not have changed my flight. I lost almost $1500 as a result of all these. The second issue was that they gave a sea facing room with good balcony, but the room size was very small. With 4 people the room was smaller than some of the cheap airport hotels. The third issue is- the first day the restaurant in the resort said they need us to reserve as it was Christmas Eve. They also told there is no reservation required following days. When we arrived on 26 th night they again told the reservation is accepted for enclave members. That info was not given to us when we checked in. We also had enclave rooms. Except for the beautiful beach the other things were very ordinary. I would not recommend this resort.
