There appeared to be raw sewage running across the sidewalk in front of the hotel. The smell was awful and it was impossible to cross without walking through it. Most other areas inside the hotel were clean. There was an area right at the beach access that seemed to have bits of refuse in it.

The Royalton CHIC Cancun was an excellent experience overall! The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. The rooms offered stunning views, whether you were on the ocean side or the lagoon side. My only concern was the occasional long wait for the elevators, which could be frustrating at times. Other than that, everything was amazing, and I would highly recommend it to others!

I loved my stay, everything was great! David at the Italian restaurant was amazing, he went out his way for us. My butler Samara was simply AMAZING she was so accommodating and kind. No request went unmet. Get the diamond club it’s worth the extra $$
