We enjoyed the food, the restaurants were very nice, the room was clean and modern. We did not get a good feeling from the staff, with a few exceptions they were not friendly or accommodating. Our butler’s basically were there to make dinner reservations. Started to feel like a Vegas hotel the way they were trying to upsell everything. Overall we left a little disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay at Royalton Chic! Our Butler Ricardo was amazing and made our stay memorable! He helped us with so much like reservations, excursions, drinks, and decorating our room! The vibe team was great and the rooftop parties were so fun! Karaoke night was my favorite!

The quality of the services you pay for wasn't as all-inclusive as we expected. We enjoyed the activities, and tipping the staff made them quite friendly. However, the property does have a somewhat run-down appearance, so overall, it was just an okay place to stay.

The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming but other than that it was ordinary for a 5 star resort. Buffet was the worst part: lack of choices, lack of quality foods, bland foods, says it’s beef when it’s pork (bad translation?). Service was good and amicable at the pool but the menu lacked options. Coffee shop was great with good options of pastry and dessert. Lack of chairs around the pool and beach. The elevators were the slowest I’ve ever seen. Not enough for the size of this resort. There were parts of the hotels where the siding was missing. Needs to be better maintained. I did not go to any restaurants so I cannot have a review for those. Every time you pass through the lobby (which you have to do to get to the pool and beach area, there is someone trying to sell you something like spa services, premium alcohol, etc. Loud music and lots of entertainment at the pool, so if you’re looking to relax, this may not be for you. Beach was amazing, most turkoise water I’ve seen in Mexico and it was walkable.
