I loved this hotel. The staff is especially friendly and attentive to every need. Especially Abril she was so kind and friendly ! It was like having a friend at the hotel. The facilities are beautiful . I enjoyed my spa package and the food options where nice too. It was exactly what I needed to get away for a quiet and fun weekend.

Dirty, lack of cleanliness, pool was dirty, dinning options were limited, AC wasn’t working properly, rooms were like hostel rooms.
Seating at restaurant was right in front of waste food area where proper garbage disposal and plate collection, they offered same spot next day but we refused, firstly they said that’s the only one spot left whereas half restaurant was empty

Small resort with wonderful staff. Food was really good even at the buffet. Rooms in need of more outlets for phone chargers. I charged my phone and watch in the bathroom overnight. Evening entertainment was good too.

Overall a good stay, but hotel needs maintenance and beware of lobby tour sellers We stayed here for 5 days and overall had a great time. The staff was amazing — 10/10 for service! The food was very good with lots of variety, and the bars had a great selection of cocktails. The 3 pools were clean and never overcrowded, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the ocean wasn’t swimmable due to a lot of seaweed on the beach and in the water. There were some noticeable maintenance issues for a supposed 5-star hotel: loose pool tiles, leaks in several areas, worn-out doors, and one of our room doors didn’t close unless we forced it. One shower head was missing, and tiles were coming off in the shower. There were no extra outlets, and the ones available were loose and coming out of the wall. Important warning: Right next to the reception, there are people offering excursions — please be careful!!!! We booked a trip to Xcaret Park and paid $200, thinking it was all-inclusive. But that price only covered the basic entrance, and most of the activities cost extra once inside — $100–$200 more if you wanted to do anything beyond the cave swim. We also had long wait times and were brought back by 4 PM, barely seeing anything. You can find better prices and packages online — I wish we had done that. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel has potential, but it definitely needs renovation. Also, I recommend avoiding booking tours through the hotel lobby.

We loved Sandos Cancun. I liked that it was only for adults. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were huge and nice. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The resort had fun activities planned out everyday by the pool and on the beach. No pressure to participate. They had 3 big pools. One of the pools you can enjoy and relax and it’s away from the music and the activities. They had 5 restaurants. The food was delicious. The buffet had different options everyday. At night, they have a variety of music genres, dancing & karaoke events. We had lots of fun!

Hotel was worth the money, pools were clean and nice, food needs a little work but still good. All The staff are amazing. Shout out to Paula, Cuba y Mexico (I forgot their names) from activities and entertainment they really AMAZING, FRIENDLY AND FUNNY. Itzel was very nice, friendly and accomodating everyday at the restaurants.

From the start of the trip everything went smooth. Since the moment you enter the lobby you are greeted by someone and they take care of your luggage while also being offered drinks while waiting to be helped. When I got to my room the bellhop made sure to bring my suitcase to me. Everyone in the staff was warm and welcoming and beyond helpful. I did not have a single bad experience during my stay.

This was my first time staying at Sandos and I wasn’t sure what to expect. We had a wonderful time. We loved the room. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We picked a balcony lagoon view/beach view and it was nice. I’d be happy to pick the pool/beach view too. We had a complimentary wine and a bunch of drinks in the mini fridge, also a super nice coffee maker with coffee pods. The pool itself exceeded my expectations. It looked way better than the pictures. The pools were always clean and the water was nice. The one downside to the pool was that there was never any spots available. The whole five days we were there. There were spots open for “reserved” elite members but unfortunately not us. That didn’t hinder our experience through because we are more beach people anyway. The beach. AMAZING! I know you can’t control the seaweed but they did their best to clean up. We had a few days where the beach was super nice. The beach cabanas were always available. They had shade and they had curtains on the side for privacy. There was always someone from the bar coming down to take your drink orders.
