We chose this resort because it was not all inclusive. We wanted the option of eating where we wanted and we knew we would be gone a lot on adventures. We did not end up eating at Sea and Stone their upscale restaurant, but it has a lovely view. We ate at the sports bar several times, and the staff was great and food was well-prepared. We also got coffee and small items from the cafe/store on site. The pools and view are lovely here although I was a little disappointed that only the main pool was open in the evening. The concierge was also super helpful in booking our excursions to Chichen Itza and Xcaret. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the Westin and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet resort hotel that is well-maintained.

Worst of three visits here

Third time here and purchased same type of room but they instead but me on lowest level with view of bushes and parking! Says over booked and didn’t move me to lagoon view or even let me do the 1 extra hour late check out due to over sales. There are plenty of other options in the zone so I’m done with this property over how I was ignored and treated. I believe it’s because this time I booked using third party snd was treated like an undesirable. Housekeeping usually great but this trip didn’t replace things they took like soap and glasses and had to call each day for items!
