This was the first stop on our trip thru Spain, embarking from Bilbao. Four sixty year olds looking for peace and quiet. We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. The bathroom was modern with all facilities and a bidet. Breakfast was simple Spanish fare but plentiful and although there was no dinner service there were plenty of restaurants in local towns, less than 10kms away. If you prefer small personal hotels this is the venue for you. We would definitely stay here again - George was the perfect host and his cat provided endless entertainment stalking imaginary prey.
