Great location to stay in Canmore, we had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious, very nicely furnished, clean and well equipped for a short or long stay. The only thing I would have liked was a little more storage for clothing in the bedroom. The resort was quick to reply to any queries before our stay and on check in the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, when we enquired about using Bear Spray, they gave us a canister for free that had been left by a previous customer, thankfully we didn't need it, so returned it when we left. There is also a fantastic restaurant across the road from the resort Blake Brewhouse and Distillery, highly recommend for food and drinks and Safeway Supermarket is a short drive away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at Basecamp Resorts and would gladly stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Mountain view was amazing, general area was clean, beds were clean. Bathrooms were not clean. Shower had a smell and visible yellow grime. Layout of the three bedroom property was cozy.

The walls were clearly dirty and I actually wiped them down as soon as we got… The water temperature for showers was terrible… They had to suddenly close the hot tub and we were not informed. Over all quality of the stay would have been great if it wasn’t for these issues….

Didn't realize it was by the railroad tracks. Wish they had a cozy blanket for the couch. Also a strange loud mechanical banging sound below us...possibly the laundry room. For the price it should also include a parking stall.
