Room was dirty. There were significant “dust bunnies” under the bed frame. Front counter staff said that should have been swept. Hair on pillow cases and bed sheets. Did not appear that sheets were changed. Housekeeping was asked to return at a later time to clean the room, they never came back. Luckily they had another room we could check into after our first night. Breakfast offerings were subpar. They had cereals and self make oatmeal. Scrambled eggs were quiche texture and lacked taste. There was rotation of bacon or sausage. Only bacon was edible. They also had stale premade waffles. Pool water seemed saturated with chlorine. Every one of us had very itchy and dry skin after using the pool. My kids had rashes which went away after essentially bathing them in lotion. Asked the manager to follow up with us concerning the experience and it has been 2 weeks without any call/email. Seems they do not care.

The room is very nice, love the fireplace and there is a spacious area for the fridge, coffee and cup etc. The shower was freezing at 6:30am (when not alot of people are using it). I ran it for 10 min then had a cold shower for another 10min. The front desk says it can take 15 min to warm up. It didn't. This would also have been nice to know on check in - just so I could try and run it a bit longer. Plus - that's a huge waste of water!
