Paid for the superior room with balcony. Was put in a room facing parking lot with a couple of chairs in front of patio door. Asked to be away from parkade and moved to an upper level (no patio) which is cheaper. Not reimbursed for cheaper room and was told it was the same cost. Very loud AC unit that goes off and on all night leading to poor sleep. No cabinet to store clothing. Very small unit. Very overpriced for lack of quality in room. Not a great place to stay with children. Positives were beautiful area, easy access to main area of town and nice gym/pool.

The room was on the 3rd floor. It smelled like it was used for people with dogs. It was extremely basic and plain. The carpet was old. We attempted to have breakfast in the dining room and were told there would be a 1.5 hour wait time. We had one dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were good. I would not stay at this hotel again.

For $600 a night the hotel was pretty brutal. Wasn’t able to check in early, the bed and sheets were horribly uncomfortable. Will not be staying here again.

For $460 a night, this place is not good. Booked the best room in the hotel. Steam shower was broken, ice machine on floor was broken. The "view" was mostly of the parking lot. All of the outlets in the room are incredibly loose (which is a fire hazard) However, the staff were friendly and courteous, which is the only thing saving this rating. Next time I'm in town I wont be back here, unless theres a very very good deal on the room.

Nice enough place. Room was smaller than other hotels. Pool was quite cold and nothing special. The thing that caught me off guard was needing to pay $10 for parking on top of an already $500 room. Maybe that’s just the norm for Canmore I’m not sure.

Excellent location with lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate location. Close to bus to Banff. Lots of parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast at the restaurant. Pool and hot tub area very clean.
