Terrible Experience at Ricky Mountain ski lodge
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge. in Canmore. Despite paying a premium for a room with a mountain view and larger space through Expedia, I was offered a subpar room next to the laundry with a terrible view. The front desk staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, dismissing my concerns about the room change.
When I complained to the manager, I was met with unprofessionalism and rudeness. They denied any wrongdoing and shifted the blame to Expedia. The room itself had issues, including a broken cooking stove and a fire detector that beeped all night due to a dead battery. He was not willing to help or understand the issue. He was very rude unprofessional and started at us that we are stilling from their property. He did not even say good morning or thank you. Manager does not know basic courtesy and how he become a manager?
As a guest traveling with an infant, I was particularly frustrated with the lack of care and attention to our needs. The manager's response was dismissive and unhelpful, telling me to "get out of our property."
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The service was poor, and the staff seemed to discriminate based on race and color. We ended up staying at a different property in Canmore, which was excellent. This hotel needs to improve its service and treat customers with respect
