We showed up very late to our check-in due to a delayed flight, and the staff was so wonderful with the directions. What could have been a stressful moment, was put to rest with a quick message from the hotel. The attention to detail with the posters in the hallway of movies filmed in the area and the hand written card in the room was so nice to see. We loved our room. So clean and quiet. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for such a great experience. Well hopefully be back soon!
The staff was very friendly and it was a 15 minute walk to the center of town. Our room 206 must have been above the restaurant because we heard chairs scraping on the floor until late, making it difficult to sleep.
Great location and had high hopes as seemed like a unique and quaint place when reservation was made. BUT was small especially bathroom and cleanliness was sub par.

Beautiful window view! Bed and bath were very nice.
the attached pub was great! My sister thought the beds were too hard but I thought they were fine. This is a charming vintage inn. If you are expecting a modern hotel, you will be disappointed. If you want an experience that includes charm and character with a lovely, helpful staff this is the place for you.
Brilliant hotel and staff. Clean rooms with lovely touches making it really feel like home from home.
Staff even contacted our next hotel when we couldnt reach them to sort out a late check in.
Food was really tasty with plenty of options. Large portions though.
My weekend in Canmore, July 25-27, 2025, was amazing. It rained almost the entire time so we spent a lot of time at The Georgetown. We ordered room service one evening and then on our checkout day we ate at the restaurant on site. The food was absolutely delicious!!!! The room we stayed in was charming and romantic. We made the most of our room during our very rainy stay. I would highly recommend this cat
We had the BEST time! The Georgetown inn was so cute and quaint, we felt right at home. I didn’t want to leave. Canmore is a gorgeous town as well.
The room was really clean and I loved the China teapot.
The bar downstairs did good food and all of the staff we interacted with were absolutely lovely. Thank you
Stayed here one night, arrived after 10 and self check in was seamless. Parking was easy to find, detailed instruction was provided prior to arrival via email. Hotel was quaint in nice area. Room was clean with comfortable bed.
This was a quaint hotel that was very clean and the room was very nice. We only stayed one night but the wine and strawberries waiting in the room was great.
The staff here are really nice people, genuine. The restaurant staff are also fantastic, as is the food, the avocado toast is amazing, as are the parmesan fries, and of course they poor a perfect pint of Guinness. The room was great, slept like a log. All it was lacking was an exercise room, but the location more than made up for that. Canmore is fantastic, and staying here puts you walking distance from everything.
I recently stayed in the Regency room and I was very impressed with all of it! Clean, well equipped, functional, spacious, easy access and a wonderful king bed. My wife enjoyed the claw foot tub for a soak! A word about reviews: try this place for yourself! Its not the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. Its a very comfy Inn!! It's rooms are above an excellent pub that can have the odd noises. If you are one of those who need to complain about every little issue... stay home. That's your issue! Nothings perfect anywhere... but this place has all the makings of a wonderful weekend! Thank You, kind front desk person and we will be back.
It is a very old building. Facilities are out of date. There is even No microwave in the room. I would not make a reservation in the hotel any more. On the other hand, it is not cheap at all, not recommended.
While our flight got majorly delayed, the hotel staff was incredibly accommodating! Beautiful and spacious room.

Staff ignored us when we arrived, we had to engage front desk. There were carpet stains in the room. The mattress definitely requires an upgrade. We had no hot water 2 consecutive nights.
