Cute place but in need of some tlc. Mattress seems old and soft. Bathroom not especially clean. We left early and didn’t understand where to leave room keys. Cute bar and patio area. Overall not worth the expensive rate. Understand it’s a tourist spot and end of summer. Staff was friendly and helpful but would not stay here again.
We stayed in room 215 for 2 nights and it was very good.
But we returned to stay another night and was put in room 101. Room 101 location is bad if you don't like it noisy. You get all the noise from people traffic at at the front desk and the people coming and going to the restaurant and all people using the stairwell which goes over the room. I would suggest you ask for a different room if they want to put you in 101. Parking lot is tight especially if you have a larger vehicle.
We loved our stay at the Georgetown Inn. The old world feeling, the cozy and comfortable atmosphere, from the lobby and front desk staff, to the charming old elevator, to the antique filled hallways and our beautifully furnished room, with four poster bed and clawfoot bath tub, and even a lovely little tea table and chairs by the furnace…. All made for a wonderful stay. My husband and I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning soon!
This little place is a gem! It has old world charm! The bedroom is a suite with a tea setting and a Kurig and a great variety of teas. The suite had a very large and comfortable armchair, a large wall mounted tv ( we did not use) and l the bathroom was clean , Soaking tub and lots of travel size shampoos, lotions, conditioners, hand soaps and plenty of towels. There was a pub onsite but we did not dine in as we had already eaten dinner by the time we checked in. However the food smelled delicious and is convenient to have a nice restaurant onsite. The hotel was beautiful inside and out with beautiful flowers adorning the outside and beautiful landscaping. The bedroom has an old key and the elevator was imported I think from Europe. It’s an old “ door style” elevator! Completely cool ! The Inn is only 30 years old btw! Although we only stayed a night before a flight out the next morning ( 9 hours total stay), our bed was heavenly, I had a nice relaxing cup of tea before our early morning flight and I slept like a baby. Would definitely stay here again! Great experience!
We stayed a night in one of the rooms with a king bed. It was a nice room and the location was great, we could easily walk into the downtown area.
We also enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant the next day.
We showed up very late to our check-in due to a delayed flight, and the staff was so wonderful with the directions. What could have been a stressful moment, was put to rest with a quick message from the hotel. The attention to detail with the posters in the hallway of movies filmed in the area and the hand written card in the room was so nice to see. We loved our room. So clean and quiet. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for such a great experience. Well hopefully be back soon!
