Checking in was rather disappointing. I understand that its hockey season, however last year your staff handled it way better. The room was particularly horrible for us this year. We were on call for a family medical issue only to find out that we had no phone reception in our room! That was terrifying. That, in addition to a weird smell in the room and also no hot water just added to it. I wouldn't have minded it in a $100 room, but for the price that we paid we could have stayed other places.

Ordered eggs over easy and bacon for breakfast. The eggs were fried and the bacon was inedible. Worst breakfast I have had in a long time. Requested a whiskey menu at the lounge and was told they do not have one. Suggested I just pick something off the self. I ordered a 'double' and received a bill for $140 for the one drink! I should have been informed of the cost since there was no whiskey menu.
