Our check in was very easy and the valet staff was wonderful. our luggage was in our room upon check in. Great restaurants on the property. Atmosphere is beautiful during the holiday season.

I liked everything except the location of the room. Our room was over the bar and near the elevators. Some bar patrons would chat outside, by the back entrance and get very loud and our room was right above that entrance. Others had a chat fest by the elevator and others allowed their children to run up and down the hallways at 10 pm. Hotel guests should be told where the room is located and given an option to relocate. I will still stay at the hotel again but will request a specific area. Other than that The Congress Hall will always be my first choice.

Congress Hall is the place to be in Cape May. Walk out the front doors to the washington square walking mall. Walk out the back to the Beach and Cape May Point where you can see both the sunrise and the sunset. Short drive to Exit Zero , Sunset Beach and the Lighthouse and not to mention all the amenities inside of Confress Hall. The Christmas Decorations in December are worth seeing at least once.

Congress Hall is iconic and has wonderful restaurants,, events and is perfectly situated. The staff is wonderful and it is clean, but the property itself is crazy. Our room itself sloped so bad that you felt that you had vertigo! The entire building has severe structural issues.
