Love La Mer
Came down for the Christmas parade & festivities. So glad we chose La Mer for our stay. The room was tastefully appointed, actually looked recently renovated and the hotel was very clean. The Pier House restaurant at the hotel is very pretty inside and we had a beautiful breakfast. Disappointed that we didn’t go there for dinner or to sit at the beautiful bar for a drink and some apps! The hotel is a very short drive to Washington Street shopping and the beach is literally across the street. We’ve stayed at B&B’s down in Cape May which are absolutely beautiful, but if you’re looking for a peaceful little retreat with stunning ocean views, La Mer is the place to be.

Always a nice stay. Booked a lawn view but the actual view was the roof of the new dining room addition that was built earlier in the year. No lawn view at all. Although the ocean was visible in the distance. Perhaps Expedia should update the information on their site. The HVAC is very noisy in the room and hard to regulate a good temperature. Enjoyed the tree lighting festivities on Saturday night.

Room was beautiful! Very clean with awesome balcony. Fall decorations around the hotel were picturesque. Enjoyed restaurant and bar activity. Great location. Will definitely visit again!

Didn't like the Bed Bug bites I got staying there. Hope I didn't bring any home. The hotel was sparsely filled yet they chose to give the worst room to us with a balcony view of a WALL!
