Great transit hotel
This was a great transit stay in Cape Town. Especially liked the UK plug point and room was very comfortable. One complaint was that there was no lift and we had to battle up the stairs with our heavy suitcases. Both of us are over 65 and no assistance was offered.

I dont know hpw this property has such a high rating. The room was in very poor condition. Small, dingy and looked as if cleaners forgot to finish and left room in half made condition. The property shows up in search as having an included airport shuttle and breakfast, but they are not 'included' they are 'available'. To top it off, there was a very large 3-4cm cockroach in hallway that the staff seemed not to be bothered by.

If your flight arrives late in the evening, this is your only option. It’s great because you can walk to it from the terminal. It’s like a Travelodge in the UK with more laid back staff and a the rooms are a bit more tired but clean. It’s a shorter walk back to car rental in the morning.

For a budget Airport hotel, the rooms were good, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast was quite good and reasonably priced. A very good option for an overnight stop, close to the Cape Town Airport

Next time I'll find another option--clean but meh
There is NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE despite what the listing says. They send you a number that you can use to book. We took an uber which was fine. The aircon was so loud it was like being next to a plane engine so I slept with the window open. There's no elevator so if you're on floor 2 (as I was) you lug your stuff up and down the stairs. There is no bottle of water in the room, you have to use a vending machine or buy one from the restaurant. That is ridiculously cheap!! I'm a frequent traveller and not usually too picky but it was not a good stay. While the rooms are small and mostly clean, I'll explore other options next time.

I had a major problem trying to book a taxi back to the airport but the young lady on reception sorted this for me and I am so grateful to her. All the staff were absolutely brilliant and the hotel was clean and tidy and I thoroughly recommend it and them!
