I stayed there for 9 nights and held a conference in one of their conference rooms. Everything was very well done. Location is good. Staff is nice and the rooftop is great. My only complaint being there on business, even holiday for that matter. There is a techno club that plays really loud music 5 of 7 days from open until 6 am or later and it's loud! I found there are noise complaint options online and several different avenues the hotel can and should continue to follow, even legal action. The staff said the city won't do anything. Build a better case, the city will and should support the hotel that brings millions of dollars of revenue to the city each year over a noisy techno club driving away business. I will be traveling back to Cape Town many times, and if it weren't for the noise from that club, it would be my first choice of hotels. I did get placed in a new room with on my second last night facing the ocean which was much quieter.

The front desk or reception staff were unfriendly and rude. Our room was flooded at 11 pm and we have to pack and move to the other room. On the day we check out we ask if we can do late check out 1 pm. They said no They said 12 pm but I my friend got to check out at 2 pm. The staff did not want to help us with our luggages.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 extra nights after our 2 week South Africa tour ended. It was a great location to walk to many meeting points for the tours we organized. The room was on the small side but we managed with one queen bed. The full breakfast (included) had plenty to choose from. All staff were attentive & helpful while assisting with our many questions. We highly recommended this hotel!

Location was perfect for our new office, the hotel reception rooms and the bar on the 14th floor, but my room 1207 suffers from noise from the bar above, would I use the hotel again Yes, but would request to be on the other side to avoid the noise from the bar above

The included breakfast was amazing, the pool and rooftop are beautiful. Restaurant great. Despite reading negative reviews, we found every staff member to be incredibly helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Family of 4 - 9 and 13 year of kids.

Hotel nicely located close to local markets, restaurants, bars and supermarket. Area is a bit rough, with homeless people begging and following you for quite a while But not as had as I expected. Police and safety officers were present on most corners. If vigilant and avoiding certain streets. one can have nice walks to explore the city and shop local art, clothes and memorabilia. Rooms not huge but comfortable for family of four. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of option and available until 11 on Sunday. Hotel must have been renovated not long ago and looked modern. Staff nice and very helpful. Dining option in the hotel was nice and decently priced.

We did a same day booking and the staff were very helpful. The included buffet breakfast was really good. The rooms were spacious and the king size bed was appreciated. The shower temperature was hard to set and hot water took a while, but the water pressure was good. The hotel badly needs a refurb and is feeling and looking tired. Carpets have been replaced with hard floors, doors have multiple layers of paint and the fridge is old and the cabinet no longer has a door.

Hotel is located in the center with 6-7 mins drive by taxi to the Waterfront. Quite a concern was a "camping site" on the opposite side of the road. Taxi can park on both sides of he entrance corner. Restaurant is ok, not ideal but ok. And actually hotel is quite crowded.

Convenient, clean hotel with amazing views over Cape Town. A sundowner at the rooftop bar and a sunrise swim in the pool are an absolute must! Highly recommend.

We arrived on 30 March for a three night stay. CONS We’re horrified to see how much poverty and deprivation exists directly outside the hotel. The first two pics is of displaced people right next to the hotel. The roads adjacent and parallel are unsafe with high proportion of people on drugs and/ or displaced. This is not a suitable location for families to go wondering around. It’s okay if you get taxis everywhere. There is no one available to help with luggage, no concierge and generally there is a shortage of staff at reception. The breakfast is very average& selection of bread very limited. We booked a 2 x double bed room which was incredibly small for three people. We found there are two corner rooms on each floor with double beds and they kindly changed our room on the second day. I tried to take a work conference call and the staff recommended the Mezzanine floor. Which is an open space, with some rooms off them. Despite the fact they were empty and I only required for 1 hour, the staff member Masi, was adamant I could not sit in the corner without paying 1000R! Every night we were there we could not sleep as there was very loud parties every single night. The pool is not heated, it never is. It should be described as a cold plunge pool (I am not exaggerating it was freezing and we could not use it). PRO’s The staff are very generally v friendly and welcoming. Especially housekeeping.
