I LOVED my stay with Jan and Bonny. My experience at Tranquility was nothing short of amazing. Jan greeted me on arrival with tea and cookies and gave me great recommendations for activities in the area as well as directions to the ones I was most interested in. The bed slept almost as well as my own at home! I woke up to a beautiful breakfast that even had fresh flowers decorating the plate! Such a lovely touch. To top it all off Jan and Bonny helped me find my way to the airport!!! In summary this Guest House is AMAZING and you can’t go wrong by staying at Tranquility!

The perfect finale to our trip of a lifetime
We stayed two nights at Tranquility at the end of our month long trip to South Africa and we were so glad we did. It was the absolute perfect finale to the most incredible trip. The room was a little oasis, with stunning views overlooking Fishhoek and the ocean. The hospitality was outstanding. We were greeted by the hosts with such a warm and friendly welcome. Lovely little welcoming touches in the room and breakfast each morning was delicious and far beyond our expectations. Jan and Bonnie were the perfect hosts, and we enjoyed our chatting and all the local recommendations. Just can’t say enough good things about our stay. We were so impressed and left feeling so perfectly content. Would recommend to everyone that this is a must stay, and if we find ourselves back in South Africa (which we hope to again one day) , we will definitely return! Thank you for everything!!

Jan and Bonnie were such amazing and attentive hosts! We couldn’t have been happier with our pleasant and tranquil stay at Tranquility! Only wish we had more time! The area is wonderful to explore the hidden gems of Cape Town. Great food, amazing sites, and awesome people! Would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful experience, flawless details
I've never been so spoilt in my life! :) Breakfast every morning was freshly made, LOTS to choose from, something new added everyday, and also special things made to work for me (vegetarian). Fresh flowers everywhere. The hosts are so sweet, friendly and helpful! They put their heart and soul into this place. Staying here is more like visiting friends or family – but you do have your own space, so even if you like things a bit more private it will suit you! We had a room with view and a big balcony overlooking the beach. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Fish hoek area!

What a gorgeous house and so sympathetic people who lived there. Our room was so nice - comfortable beds and duvets just the right thickness. We slept so good! We got very good tips on restaurants - and they helped us to book. Generous and good breakfast.Wish we could come back ...
