lots of room for improvement
Check-in took 90 minutes. There was no internet as the data allotment had been used by someone else and management was unwilling to address this. Customer service was poor, with no return communication from the facility caretaker. Very tiny, old television. Mismatched and chipped crockery. Vintage appliances. Loose floor tiles. Shower require you to step very high and it a falling hazard. Large security deposit. Close to a grocery store and the beach. Hot water was good.

Lovely neighborhood for an extended stay
I spent 8 days in Cape Town so it was nice to stay in a place with a full kitchen. This is essentially a 2 bedroom apartment in the Sea Point neighborhood with a view of the Atlantic just a block away. The location was quite handy with a full supermarket next door and many restaurants within a block or two. I was able to walk to the Convention Center every morning (it takes about 45 minutes to walk to the CTICC). The place is quite decent for a slightly extended stay. I would definitely come back. Decent DSL internet service and satellite TV. My only grip was that there was no workdesk but the dining room table is generous. No power outlet nearby so bring an extension cord.
