Lovely hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk into the old town but also on a street with plenty of amenities of its own. Free parking nearby in the Place Barbicane which was easy to find and close to the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and local products. The hotel garden was beautiful, and a cute if very small roof terrace too from which you can get a view of the city walls.

Small hotel close to the cite. Friendly, helpful staff. Would DEFINITELY stay there again. only downside is no elevator (not surprising in an old building)

This property is ideally situated between La Cite and La Bastide. There is a beautiful courtyard garden ideal for relaxing before heading off for an evening meal at one of the good restaurants in the immediate vicinity (but be aware that many are closed on Wednesdays). An excellent place to stay for a short break in Carcassonne.

Great little boutique hotel with charm and very close to fortress. Room well appointed, only downside are pillows (flat and hard). As old building, no elevator. That said, small terrace on top floor with incredible view of fortress. Street offers great restaurants options. Only downside is distance to train station - good 15/20 min walk. Great staff and very helpful.

Really fabulous hotel in a great location - staff are wonderful and always helpful. There’s a rooftop perch where you can get stunning views of the Carcassonne fortress and walls and there’s also a secure underground parking lot.

great area to stay, I could walk across the bridge to the old town or walk up the hill to the walled fortress, both took no more than 10 minutes. had a lovely view of the courtyard and the top floor had a small terrace that overlooked the fortress (fantastic at night). overall my two night stay was very pleasant.

Located outside the castle walls but in a nice location near restaurants and cafes. It is a lovely old hotel but beware it has no elevator and a windy staircase. They did have someone to carry our luggage up and down. Unfortunately we left our backpack with our luggage in the room and the gentleman at the desk was not happy about that. So I guess that is not okay. It is a short walk up to the castle which is a must see.

Amazing location, fantastic view of Carcassonne Castle from top floor terrace. Breakfast was not as so good as last time I stayed and very crowded, in summer breakfast in garden better. The young man service breakfast was helpful and lovely

We liked the roof top terrace, it’s tiny but the view is excellent. Hotel is walkable from the rail station and up to the walled city if you are used to walking like we are. Our room had very tiny windows, our friend’s room had a lovely large window.

Lovely charming hotel
Friendly welcoming staff and comfortable beds. Loved the window looking into the garden. Loved the quaintness of the building and its location being next to restaurants and in short walking distance to Le Cité. I even liked the bell ringing at random times. Very hospitable staff but watch out for the cute cat. She looks easygoing but she may change her mood quickly and bite.
