Very convenient and easy to access highways. We rented a car so this was a plus because we were able to get on the highway right away and start exploring and heading to our destination! The Free breakfast was delicious! Hotel was very clean and beautiful. Very nicely kept!

We would have given a better rating but… the toilet was literally 12” off the ground!!! they charged an additional $15.00 per day parking which we were not informed of and the property is already overpriced! No indoor pool! The breakfast was okay. The staff was very nice! The location for our needs was good

The staff was great!!! The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay, and I will most definitely be back. The price was fair for the facility. Note, next door at El Pueblo Mexican cantina is AWESOME!!! I found myself there quiet a bit enjoying their amazing food. TACOS !!!

Very convenient for us in regard to the distance from Del Mar racetrack as we were there for the Breeders’ Cup. It was very clean & well kept. The beds were very comfortable! The daily breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful & friendly. The only thing they should do away with is a parking fee. I think they include it as part of the room price & give a permit for the duration of the stay as $15 daily is a bit excessive… Other than that it was great! It’s a very nice place. I recommend it!

I have never had an unpleasant stay at a hotel, but the room we got was the nosiest room I have ever experienced in my life. Not only did we hear every room open and close, it SHOOK the room like an earthquake. We were woken up multiple times past midnight due to the noise. Points for being dog friendly, but dogs didn’t sleep a wink due to it sounding like someone was barging into our room every 20 minutes or so. Water in the shower wouldn’t go any hotter, so felt like I was showering in lukewarm water. Eyelash was found in the continental breakfast eggs. The filtered fountain to refill your water tasted worse than normal tap water. No towels to use in the pool area, so bring the towels from your room to use. Pretty disappointed, but hotel served its purpose. I wouldn’t stay here again though

The property was clean and the breakfast was nice. There were a lot of young kids in the halls in the morning. I am assuming that's because of Legoland being in the area. But if you weren't sleeping in or working late it wasn't a big deal.

Great Stay
Our stay was good. It was easy to check in and get our baggage to the room. The hotel was clean and pretty quiet. It was a great location despite not being as close to the beach as we thought but still pretty centralized. Our only complaints was the room temperature. The ac was too cold at 71 but too hot at 72. We had a challenge changing the temperature initially but we were able to figure it out. The second thing was there wasn’t enough ventilation in the bathroom. The fan didn’t stay on and there are no windows that opened in the room so the room was pretty stuffy after a shower. Lastly, the parking fee was excessive. There were no street parking options so you are forced to pay the $15 a day.
