For a 30th Birthday Celebration, it was really disappointing. I had contacted the hotel prior to our stay to see if there could be any added touches or if we could have 3 single beds instead of a double and this did not happen. Everything in the room was catered for 2 people staying and not 3 as paid for, inc towels, pillows, water, cups etc.
The bathroom was also fairly disgusting. Filthy toilet and all around the underneath of the toilet too. Hairs in the shower/bath and generally very unclean.
Really disappointed.
Check in staff very friendly and helpful.We stayed for 2 nights, but under separate bookings. This caused a bit of confusion as we didn't want to change rooms and check out then back in again. Thankfully, the staff sorted this out for us.
No parking at this hotel, but only 5 mins walk to Cardiff central station so we parked there.
Restaurant was fully booked, but we had a drink and the barman was very polite and cheerful.
Only issue we had was my daughter stepping on some glass in our room. Thankfully only a small cut and a manger came to ours room with disinfectant and plasters.
Have stayed here before and would again as it in a perfect location for what we wanted
Breakfast is awful, the eggs are severely overcooked and bitter. Potatoes really dry and taste of nothing. Orange slices were dry and tasteless.
The doors are really loud from other rooms on floor 5.
Room is very nice though, clean warm and the bathroom is set up well.
Booked last minute.. for family reason's... so was very impressive..It was booked for myself and my 2 daughter's..one daughter lives in Wales..Due to family upset. One of my daughter's had to leave early so only stayed one night and breakfast. Would be greatfull if you would look in to this for posable refund for one night and breakfast.. Thankyou (one person)
Stayed with my daughter and niece and really enjoyed our stay. reception staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was great too. Definitely will be staying again in the future
Great room for the 3 of us ladies; one double and a single bed both of which were clean and very comfortable. Only downside was that the air con could not be lowered and it switched off at midnight so the room was very hot in August so sleep wasn’t great. Bottled water in the room and tea and coffee options. Great breakfast options. Safe in the room which is always a bonus. Stayed here a few times it’s great value for money in a very good location in the city centre.

Recommend improving Housekeeping service. The room was a bit dusty and when the cleaner came to clean whilst i was there she hardly spent 5 minutes cleaning the room including the bathroom. The cups, spoons and glasses inside the room where dirty as well.
I booked this on behalf of three friends.
Unfortunately they had an uncomfortable stay in the triple room - for different reasons which the Hotel manager has dealt with and issued a partial refund.
