Nice hotel in good location for couples but not families. Unfortunately the room was far from soundproof. The hotel was hosting a wedding the night we stayed which had loud music playing past midnight then when that finally finished all you could hear was people from the nearby pubs. It’s fair to say my children did not get much if any sleep. Despite this we would stay there again but next time with no children and I’m sure we would have a good few more drinks inside us to help us sleep 😁

Always our chosen hotel in Cardiff
We always stay at the Hilton when visiting Cardiff as in my opinion it is the best hotel. Clean and comfortable and the service is excellent. The breakfast is really good too. My only complaint would be that the spa/pool area is starting to look dated and run down and is in need of a revamp.

Simply lovely
We've stayed at the Cardiff a few times and we really enjoy our visits. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The restaurant staff are amazing and very friendly (especially Charlie and Jennifer). Both ladies have a great attitude, always smiling and making us feel welcome and well looked after. The food selection is excellent and always topped up throughout the morning. The coffee machines have been out of order over the last few visits, but the staff made sure everyone had fresh filtered coffee, which we really appreciated. The ladies on the front desk are also very lovely and helpful. My only complaint would be not having complimentary water in all rooms. As someone who takes regular medications it's important I have water to hand, it's not a huge deal but it would be a lovely addition to our stay, especially if I forget to bring some with me. We look forward to coming back for our Christmas Eve shopping trip.
