The Rose and Crown is a little inn just above Porthcawl. It’s old, and charming, and the rooms are in need of a little bit of updating—-new carpet would go a long way! But the beds were very comfortable, it met our needs, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a light dinner there, and it was delicious.

Excellent location, great value, the food and beverages were excellent and the bed was comfortable. The room decor was a bit tired, but it’s difficult to complain at the price!
