I like the Angel as its walkable for cardiff central train station, and very close to the shops. The rooms are clean and adequate. It was very disappointing that the lift wasnt working for the 2 days that we stayed. And that the shower was over a bath. But we didn't say on booking that we needed an accessible shower. That aside the hotel is central and is ideally located

Excellent location. Come out the front door and you have the rugby stadium to your left and Cardiff castle to your right. 2 mins walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. Friendly staff, breakfast good, only downside was that the lifts were out of use while we stayed. Would definitely return to stay here again if visiting Cardiff.

Room was great,staff were brilliant,unfortunately the car park was shut which we were unaware of and a main reason of why we chose the Angel so we had to pay £30 which we hadn’t budgeted for so check before you travel,also the lift at the hotel was out of order but got a slight upgrade because of this,would stay there again
